  Overall the unit was nice and in good condition but is in need of kitchen accessories and the complex is in need of updates. The elevators didn't work half the time and three different keys are needed to get on the elevator or up the stairs and into the condo. Digital key pads would be much easier and the rentals agency has no key lock box on the property.

  This condo is wonderfully located on the beach and within walking distance to the boardwalk and many other fun shops and eateries! It was so nice to park the car and just walk most of our trip. Condo has so many beach accessories like umbrella, chairs, floats, etc. all you need is your own beach towel and sunscreen! Our whole family loved this condo and the location - just note you do not have a view of the water.

  Very nice condo and Great location. Walk to bars, restaurants and shops. Sits on the beach and has designated parking. Would definitely stay here again.
  There are a few things that are a little deceiving from pictures but not deal breakers for us. Balcony faces busy and loud street with no view of the beach. The pool is much smaller than appears but the beach is right there so who needs a pool! Condo association takes great care of complex which is clean, friendly and quaint. Condo itself is comfortable, well decorated and easy to access. You do have to got to a separate location to get keys but close enough and easy process to pick up and return keys.

  We have been to this complex many times over the last 35+ years. Very well kept property. We stayed in #304 corner unit with good views. This is a great location right a cross from John's Pass. The unit has been remodeled and is spacious with two bedrooms and two full baths. Only issues was a lot of dust behind cabinets, dressers & sand in dresser drawers. Could use a better cleaning. The balcony furniture needs updating and the balcony could use a cleaning. Also a paint refresh wouldn't hurt. We would stay again but would like to see some minor updates.

  This is our 5th year staying a Madeira Norte. Nothing too big. The blinds in the living room didnt work. The drawer in the fridge was broken. We tried cooking a frozen pizza and the over wouldnt heat up enough. And the pool was closed on Friday.

Upon arrival we noticed the floor was really dirty but this was rectified quickly and the cleaning company came right out to fix it.   My review was very good the place was very clean and nice We had a good view of John Pass and the local traffic. We were very lucky as we didn,t know what we were getting into but everything turn out perfect, close to bar and music and lots of shopping.

  Our family had a very relaxing time while there. Beach property was very nicely kept. There were a few issues with our room: dining room light did not work, remote control in master bedroom was missing cap to batteries & didn't work (taped a penny to it to get it to work) ice maker was frozen (we did defrost) and were able to make ice, rugs could have been cleaner. Overall, nice facility.

  Madeira Norte #304 is a typical condo, but directly across from John's Pass, which is OK if you are looking for that type of environment. We found it a bit touristy for us, especially since the condo faces the road. Gulf Blvd. is a very busy highway! There was live music playing many nights across the road, which was somewhat annoying. However it was conveniently located to the beach/ocean, which is where we spent most of our daytime hours! Overall, it was a comfortable place to stay for the month.

  Although it would be great to have a view of the beach, we found we did not mind the view to Johns Pass. The property was well maintained, and in a perfect location. We walked daily on the beach, swam in a well-maintained pool, and could easily walk to Johns Pass for meals, shopping, and dolphin watching boat tours. Although we did not take any of the sunset cruises offered, I believe we would during another visit. I would love to visit and stay in this unit again. I am handicapped, and the step in showers were perfect for me.

  The place was great with enough space for 5 people. We enjoyed being there for the week. Location is very convenient not only to move by car to a supermarket or gas station or other beaches but also to walk during the evenings. The apartment was clean and had the necessary to stay. Beds and furniture looked good and comfortable. For us with two kids the place, the pool and the beach worked perfectly cause everything around was right there.
  The only inconvenient was that we could not park our car indoor due to a work a company was performing on the parking and we only found out a day before. Due to the products they were using we could not use the pool either. Management of the Madeira Norte and any of the rentals offices should coordinate any work schedule outside so customers can be more prepared to organize their pool days better. Rentals should let customers known about these issues in advance. Other than that, we made a good decision by renting this place.

  Madeira Norte 304 is a perfectly equipped and perfectly located condo. The condo was exceptionally clean and located in a very quiet building. It is directly on the gulf and right across from John's Pass. It has a king size bed, large flat screen TVs, a huge shower, and a very well equipped kitchen. The only negatives are there is no tub and no gulf view. Easily, one of the nicest condos we have ever stayed in on the coast !

  We really enjoyed out stay. The only disappointing exception we came across, was in relation to some of the owners who lived there. Comments were made by some of the senior citizens in regards to pool usage by children. I didn't really appreciate the snide remarks made just because kids were in the pool. The condo itself was wonderful. If one suggestion could be made. I would ask that patio furniture be purchased for the patio so tenants could dine outside.

  Madeira Norte #304 was a perfect place for a family vacation. It was clean and roomy. It was perfect location right across from Johns Pass. The view wasn't of the ocean, but it was still a very pretty one of the tropical Johns Pass. Love the little extras, like the beach chairs that we could use and the washer and dryer was plus. We would totally come back.

  It's a great place for vacation, John's Pass across the street is fantastic, so you don't have to drive with a car if you will get a drink in the evening. The condo was perfect, everywhere big tv's. good furniture and a recliner which my son prefered we will come again next year :-)

  Our rental was overlooking Johns Pass with plenty of room on the patio to sit back and relax on once our daughter went to bed. However some may consider a little noisy on weekend nights due to local bands playing at club across the street.(It did only go on until about 11:00 or 11:30 and could only be heard really loud if screen door was open). We had everything that we needed except for a boogie board and some sand toys which we bought for our little girl and left behind since we could not take it with us.(Hopefully they will keep these items there and future tenants can enjoy them.) It was perfect being so close to Johns Pass because we didn't have to get in the car to find somewhere to eat unless we really wanted to. Great to stroll through Johns Pass or on the beach in the evenings. Rental itself was reltively clean and very up to date except for two issues:
  1)major crack in toilet seat in main bathroom
  2)second bedroom definately needed some new beds. The double had a bit of a dip in the center.(the bed in the master bedroom was excellent!!!)
  Pool for the building was a little smaller than expected with a maximum of 8 at one time however it was always well maintained with lots of chairs to sit at and was great being able to be right on the beach which was beautiful as well.
  All in all we would definately stay here again if returning to Madeira Beach area.

  We LOVED this place, this location and it's closeness to the beach. We would love to go back. The keys for the stairs, elevator and condo were a bit much to keep up with (wish there was a code instead.).But other than that...WONDERFUL time. The condo was newly updated, clean and well kept.
