Villa Madeira 609 Top Floor Beach Front/Walk to everything/Beautiful beach!

This top floor condo has a large, screened in balcony facing the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. The décor is a traditional and comfortable plus the den can be used as another small bedroom with kids bunk beds in it. The kitchen is fully equipped and you are within walking distance to restaurants, shops and other beach activities. our condo has a washer and dryer as well as free wireless internet service is available. PLEASE NOTE: This is a non-smoking property with the exception of a designated outside smoking area.

  Have stayed in this unit several times, needs some updates. Fan on porch didn’t work, tv in 2nd bedroom didn’t work, porch furniture is old and over sized for the area. Wish they would get rid of the old bar stools, can’t sit or walk around the table without moving them, 1st thing we do is move them to laundry room. We are trying another unit in September.

  Overall the rental unit was in okay condition. The rugs were dirty as well as the bedroom carpets which definitely need updating. The kitchen had just enough for 4 adults and no baking dishes to cook. No hot pads as well. The sliding doors did not lock. Luckily the porch was screened in because we had a 2 year old and it wouldn’t have worked. We would have had to leave. They need to be up to code.

  We travel to the Clearwater/St Pete Beach area 2-3 times a year and this unit/complex is our new favorite. It meets all our requirements including being on the top floor, having a gulf front view from both the Master bedroom and living room, and having a washer and dryer in the unit. The balcony is spacious and the view is incredible. The complex is conveniently located to many of our favorites like Candy Kitchen,Slyce,and Publix.   This property was in a great place, excellent views of ocean, great pool and outdoor area. It was kept very clean on the outside. The condo I rented needs work. The master bathroom is disgusting. Plumbing features need to be replaced (at least 25 years plus old and unable to keep clean). The shower needs total replacement. The furniture in living room needs cleaning. The Dryer had a defective lint remover and lint appeared all over clothes. Condo needs spring cleaning not just changeover cleaning.

  This condo was very well suited for my family of 3 with a homey feeling décor. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs also. However, the bathtub in the master room was more like a small pool (not a jacuzzi) which was very slippery while taking a shower. But the bathroom didn't hinder our stay one bit. We still enjoyed walking and playing in the Gulf, finding seashells and sea glass, swimming in the pool, and lounging beach side on the sundeck every day, plus having breakfast and dinner at the local eateries. We did find one restaurant with fresh squeezed OJ. We went there 4 times out of the 9 days staying in Madeira. Also ended up finding out where they buy their oranges and went to the company to buy some for ourselves. They will be shipped in the next few weeks. I would definitely come back to this condo. Well worth the travel time in a car! We do not fly!

    We are so, so sorry for this!!! What you experienced were sugar ants, they are tiny and pesky and a real nuisance! We experience them in our own homes here so we definitely understand the annoyance that they bring. We do treat the inside and outside of all of the condos, however, those little devils seem to not care. Should you see them again, please just call us at our office and we will have someone come out and help. We are truly sorry they were even seen!!   Unit 609 definitely needs to be updated. The air conditioning vent in the bedroom needs to be checked. The air just isn't coming through. The patio door to the bedroom is very hard to move. It really drags. Pillows in the master suite were terrible. We bought new ones and left them there. We would have taken pillows from the other bedroom, but there were no pillow cases on them. Still, we love Villa Madeira and will be back next year.

  So close to all the beach communities from Clearwater Beach to Pass a grille. But still so relaxing, just the right mix. Easy walk to Johns Pass, Lisa's, Brewnette, Screwies and 7 eleven. Easy drive to Publix grocery or take beach shuttle. The complex has parking, elevator, pool and of course sits right on the beach. My unit was perfect, everything I needed and more. Great balcony and nice big shower/tub. As for the management team they were great, took 5 minutes for check in/out. Onsite maintenance man kept everything clean. All and all would definitely stay again.

  The best part about our experience was the location. We were right on the beach which was clean, uncrowded, and absolutely beautiful--powdery, soft sand. The area seemed so safe, almost a small town feel. Loved that it was within walking distance to John's Pass and across the street from Candy Kitchen. The condo was spacious enough for our family of six--with three adults, two teens and a child. However, the bunk beds weren't too sturdy, so we couldn't put a teen on the top bunk. The condo could use some updating and additional supplies--silverware, beach toys, dish soap. It was not as stocked as others we have stayed in. The balcony was spacious with enough furniture and screened in. Didn't realize how great it would be not to have to worry about birds, bugs, or stuff falling down! A great stay overall--I'd rent again.

  We stayed at Villa Madeira for 2 weeks and loved the location. The condo was very clean and comfortable. Allocated parking was an excellent feature and everyone we met at the condo was very friendly and helpful.
  The only things missing were pots with lids (I love to cook!) and a knife sharpener.
  We would highly recommend Villa Madeira to anyone looking for a beach experience. We had many memorable sunsets and the sound of the waves was wonderful to fall asleep to. There were many nice features close by, including a grocery store. Museums in St. Petersburg were about 20n minutes away and well Worth the trip.

  we love staying at 609, the decor is wonderful, the bed was comfortable and the view is great.for years we have been coming for 10 nights and thought 14 would be enough but we were wrong. vacation went to fast and hope to be back soon. great location and plenty of room for the 5 of us. 609 will be our first choice but we have stayed in at least 6 different units and never had a bad stay

  We were very happy with the location of condo and over all everything was great. The only couple things are the mattresses in twin beds were very uncomfortable for our guests, when you lay on them you can feel the springs, also, the condo only had one dish rag and two small tea towels (we purchased some dish rags). If the mattresses are replaced we would consider renting there again next winter.

  Property very clean. Pool area was very good. Great location 10 minute beach walk to Johns Pass outdoor restaurants. Condo was fine. King Bed very comfortable. Super view from 6th floor. Kitchen well equipped. Good Beach Condo. Must go local eateries - Dockside Daves - grouper sandwich & french onion soup. Screwie Louies - breakfast & Lunch. Latitudes - super 3rd floor view overlooking Inter-coastal. and of course Candy Kitchen across the road for ice cream.

  From the moment we walked in the Resort Rentals office to the moment we left we enjoyed our stay. The staff there so helpful and accomodating. How wonderful it was to fall asleep to the sound of waves and awake the following morning again to them. The
  screened balcony meant we could eat out there most days and no bugs or flies bothering us. To take pictures of the stunning sunset just slide the window up. The super kingsize (6ft wide) bed in the master bedroom was great as I do twist and turn a lot at night
  so plenty of space not to disturb my husband. Washer/dryer was a bonus too. If I was to find any fault though really nit picking, it would be the amount of clutter in the cupboards (I appreciate this is a privately owned condo) but much of the clutter need
  to be dumped to allow for easier and complete cleaning. Never seen so many cupboard so full of stuff. Far far more than is needed for a condo that sleeps 6. New silverware needed too as the plastic knives and forks didn't look right with the few proper ones.
  Balcony furniture while comfortable if it rained got so wet it couldn't be used for a day or two and we had to take the cushions off and stand on end to dry out. However even saying all these minor things I would definitely stay in this unit again.
