This 2-bedroom, 2 bath condo has been very well maintained with new flooring throughout, freshly updated bathrooms with lovely tile work and neutral colors, a remodeled kitchen that is fully equipped with all that you need to make your family meals, newer furnishings and flat screen TV’s in the living room area as well as each bedroom. This north corner unit has a private balcony with wide and direct views of the Gulf of Mexico that you will just love! Coin operated laundry conveniently located on floors 2, 4 and 6. The Emerald Isle is a direct beachfront building on North Redington Beach. This building has 2 or 3 bedroom option condos, all which will have direct views of the Gulf of Mexico from their own private balcony. You will find John’s Pass Village approximately 4 miles to the South which is filled with shopping, restaurants, water activities and entertainment for all. Feel like riding some roller coasters while in town? Busch Gardens in Tampa is only an hour drive away or hit the Disney parks and all the other Orlando attractions in approximately 2 hours. The Florida Aquarium in Tampa, Clearwater Aquarium (Home of Winter the Dolphin), Hard Rock Casino, beautiful state parks and miles of beaches are just a handful of reasons to visit our Pinellas County beaches!!! North Redington Beach is a quaint beach town that is just a short drive outside of St Petersburg; a city loaded with museums, art galleries, restaurants and shopping.   Overall our vacation experience was very nice. The rental company is very user friendly. The condo was clean & supplied with necessary items. The condo did have a musty smell when entering the door. The sunset from that side of the building is gorgeous except because it’s a lower floor, you have the view of the backside of the next door building that’s not appealing.

  We loved the rental! Nice side unit with great view of the ocean. It is set up very nice that you really don't see or hear anything from neighboring units. Beautiful decor. Great air flow and sounds from the ocean. Shut the A/C off and let the breeze come thru. Great location. Near to great restaurants and shopping. Could really use a deep clean, however it was not an issue for us. If I had to suggest anything to future guests, bring extra pillows, extra towels, garbage bags, hand soap and dish soap as with this unit, these items were very scarce or non-existent.

  The condo really needs a detail clean and some minor repairs. Oven is run down and burners don’t sit right. But the location and building makes up for it. Loved the security of the unit. Would stay again.

  We enjoyed our stay at the Condo. Great location to the activities we had planned. The access to the beach was nice with the pool. The condo has several items that should be updated by the rental company or owners. (1) Master bathroom toilet handle was broken when we arrived. The toilet was running when we arrived and had to 'jiggle' the handle. This was a constant occurrence during the week. (2) the door lock was very difficult to get the key to fit and work. This issue was highlighted in other reviews on (3) the kitchen wiring should be reviewed. We tripped the circuit breaker when making coffee. The refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker outlet are on the same circuit. We could not find the fusebox until we called the Maintenance company. (3) listed a unit washer/dryer. This is not true, but a central W/D on the floor that was coin operated. Very disappointed with this realization.

  My wife and I have enjoyed staying at Emerald Isle for quite a few years now. We come out to stay every week of the 4th of July. The property is the nicest in the vicinity of North Redington Beach. We will go back to Emerald Isles as long as we can afford it. Lol. I wish that the wooden lounge chairs and umbrellas were not in the way. They are rentals and are right in the middle of where folks want to put up tents and there own umbrellas. We pay quite a bit for the use of the “private” beach. An owner I spoke with says that they receive no money for this. They are an eye sore and a nuisance. It caused problems with us and others that want to have a spot for their families. Obviously, we will be back but hope that they are gone next year. Thank you and have a safe and blessed day.

  We enjoyed our time is a very clean unit, but lacks in the kitchen. There were no pot holders or bakeware. Cooking utensils slim. The view is nice. The facility is kept very clean and tidy. Pool area a bit small. People go put their towels out early and save chairs. There are a few restaurants in walking distance, but that was a little negative for us. Wish there was more places around to walk to for shops etc. The parking is tough if you have 2 or more cars. Only 2 guest spots in lot. Minimal street parking.

  My mother and I enjoyed our stay would come back again. The place was very comfortable and up to date. They have a Keurig bring some pods.The blue pillows on the couch could use a change, the feather ribs poke through and are very sharp. The beach view is straight on and you can see the sunset. Nice pool and great beach. Parking is great. Good restaurants near by you can walk to. Don't forget to see the bird sanctuary down the street. They should have instructions on how to get the tv to work though. The place was not swept there was sand on the floors. Watch the glasses the dishwasher does not clear the detergent. Overall a great stay.

  Spent two weeks here over the winter holidays. Nice clean well-furnished condo. View of the beach is nice. Because it is on the end, you cannot see both directions . Patio is small. The king bed is great. Twin beds need to be replaced. They are bad. Kitchen has everything needed to fix meals.

  The condo is in a nice building right on the beach and has an ocean view. There is a well-maintained pool. The condo itself is nicely appointed and was very clean. The linens and bath towels were provided. The bathrooms are renovated and so is kitchen. The main bedroom has a king-size bed. We had two kids with us and they had their own room with two beds. We enjoyed the stay very much. The beach is beautiful and clean and there are beach chair rentals available. The rental office staff was courteous and very helpful. I can recommend this place.

  The ac does not distribute cool air evenly to the living room/kitchen area and the bedrooms (too warm). All the mattress'a should be replaced, especially the guest 2 beds as they sleep unevenly. This comment was brought up by a former guest and I had inquired and was told that the one guest bed was recently replaced. A good night sleep is paramount when you are on vacation and at the price that is charged this should

  Just what the Doctor ordered. Easy parking, clean and comfortable accommodation with a nice view of the beach. Two bathrooms and two rooms which was fantastic as a family of 4. Great access to a quiet beach but you have to remember your beach keys to get through 2 gates and a door.
  One elevator which oy became an issue when lots of role checked out. Other than that I wod definatly use this apartment again.

  Overall we were happy with our stay. There was a great view, updated counters, baths and floors and it was centrally located to lots of things. There were some extras in the room like sand toys and an umbrella and skim board and extras on the property like boogie boards and beach chairs. Our issues are small for the most part. The first is an easy change for the rental company, they need to change the color of the key tags on the room keys. They should not blend in with or be the same color as the sand. The mattress in the master was very uncomfortable and there were no extra pillows. Lastly the key system to move through the property is outdated and obserd. There are many more current ways to secure the property including key codes. This was by far the most annoying thing during our stay. And while it was a nice place to stay overall this would definitely make a difference in whether I would stay here again. Thanks for your hospitality and service as the rental company and the guests at the location were great.

  Our stay from May 11-20, 2017 was overall pretty good. I was a bit disappointed about the lack of kitchen needs, i.e. No broom, needed Tupperware, Towels was 1 of each cloth and drying towel. I also didn't know that there would be the garage renos either so had a constant drilling noise for a few days all day. Also was unaware of Painting downstairs.

  We loved the location of this rental! And we loved the fact that each unit had a beach/ocean view. I would say the building and unit were outdated and lacked a few things. In our unit, the master bedroom had no lights other than 2 lamps that didn't really work. We would have liked a washer/dryer in the unit as well. We really appreciated the fact that beach toys were included but it would have been nice to have beach towels as well. Overall it's a pretty well kept condo but could use some updating.

    Glad to hear you loved the location and beach views! :-) This is one condo location in our program that does not have the individual washer/dryer in unit, they have coin operated machines on alternating floors and we are sorry if this was not a good fit for you. Beach towels are not a required item for the owners to leave as we have found they go missing way too often, which is quite disappointing we agree. We have a number of condos in our program throughout the immediate area that are a bit more updated and have washer/dryer in the condo so if this building was not the perfect fit in regards to amenities for you, I am sure we have another that is!   We had a group of families from our area and we all enjoyed the property. It was clean and safe. The staff was very helpful. The only issue was that we needed a key for everything which was good from a safety perspective but did make it difficult when the teenagers wanted to go one way, the adults wanted to go another and the grandparents another...but we managed. Would definitely recommend this property and would love to return.

  We had a very relaxing and stress free vacation. Good unit with a lot of new appliances. The bedding wasn't up to standard though. The King mattress was poor and the fitted mattress pad and bottom sheet were undersized and always coming off. Other than that the wife and I really enjoyed the stay.

  Our experience was delightful and worth the price. The view of the Gulf was unobstructed and you could walk the beach for miles. Everything was as expected or better, and the fact that you can now drop your key on-site is very helpful. There are a few places to eat within walking distance, and we particularly enjoyed the Sea Breeze Restaurant. I would love to return and I would recommend the Emerald Isle to anyone. It may not be as fancy as some locations, but the small size of the complex was one of the things that attracted us. Clean, quiet, assigned parking, pool and steps from the beach! Perfect.

We had difficulty with turning the cable tv on since we weren't familiar to that company, but the resort manager was very helpful explaining things. Only suggestion, have at least two carts in the lobby for transporting personal items when arriving and in departure. Experienced too many leaving at the same time on Saturday and some were a little too possessive with the one cart.

  My wife, adult son and I spent a week at this well located condo on the beach in North Reddington. While our overall experience was very good the property would benefit from cosmetic updates. The carpet was worn and frayed and there were holes in the bedroom doors with the veneer separating from the bathroom doors. Kitchen was well appointed as we "cooked - in" for all breakfasts and three dinners during our stay. Welcomed the new blended for fruit smoothies.

  Actually really liked the condo but we have stayed at numerous places along Redington, Treasure Island, Madeira and we have never had to use a key for EVERYTHING! We are a family with 2 teenagers so we are not always together. Only given 2 keys and you need one to go in lobby, to enter pool gate and to exit pool gate. We found ourselves following each other and throwing the key off the balcony to make sure we had one when we wanted to return to the room. I understand locking everything at night but during the day is just too much! Many other places with same feel and price that do not have so many locks! If this one aspect was changed, we would definitely go back.

  This is our second year renting from Emerald Isles and we expect next year to be our 3rd. The condo area is beautifully kept. There is a Security Guard and that helps with safety. Our rooms were not over the top, but clean. Much nicer than other condos in that area.

The beach was great and not crowded even though it was Spring Break - very family oriented but plenty of "independent" fun for my two teenagers.   We had a fun and relaxing time in this beach-front condo. The property is well kept and clean; the pool area overlooking the beach was a nice reading spot. We had ample room in the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for the 4 of us. The teenage girls discovered the Sun Coast Trolley that allowed them to shop up & down the beaches on their own, easily and flexibly. We cooked some meals in and ate some meals out - we really enjoyed Guppy's in Indian Shores. Best of all, we missed 3 midwestern February snowstorms while we lounged in 80 degree sun! Our late Saturday night arrival was no problem for the property managers; they provided secure key and information pickup that was easy and quick. We would rent in this condo group from Resort Rentals again.
