Land's End 402 building 10 Fully UPDATED /Private balcony with GULF views!

Completely remodeled, this top floor Gulf front condo is the perfect spot for your beach vacation. The bright modern décor and the state of the art fully equipped kitchen will enhance your stay. The private balcony facing the beach and the Gulf of Mexico is a great spot for watching the glorious Florida sunset. Your master bedroom has a door to the balcony and a large window facing the Gulf. After a day spent on the beach, let the sound of the waves lull you to sleep. Other amenities include a washer and dryer, flat screen TV’s in the living room as well as both bedrooms and wireless internet service. Building #10 is located right next to the large swimming pool and Jacuzzi tub onsite.

Land’s End is located on Treasure Island at the end of a peninsula and is surrounded on 3 sides by water; the Intracoastal Waterway to the east, a pass to the south and the Gulf of Mexico to the west. This community is loaded with amenities to keep anyone entertained! Large, heated pool, 2 hot tubs, sand volleyball court, tennis and pickleball courts, charcoal grills and gazebo area for your outside dining nights, a boardwalk that wraps around the community for your morning exercise, shuffle board, direct beach access and all within this beautifully landscaped community. Land’s End is approximately 3.5 miles South of John’s Pass Village on Madeira Beach which is filled with shopping, restaurants, water activities and entertainment for all. Feel like riding some roller coasters while in town? Busch Gardens in Tampa is only an hour drive away or hit the Disney parks and all the other Orlando attractions within 2 hours.   We had a fantastic vacation. The location and condo were wonderful. The private beach and walking trails were fantastic. Lots to do and wonderful restaurants close by. My kids had a blast in the pool and at the ocean! Only drawback was it being a little hot in the condo. You couldn’t turn the air down due to it being so warm outside. But we would definitely stay there again! The only other snafu we had was a cranky old man walking into our condo to berate me while I was cleaning the condo before we left. I forgot to lock the front door after coming in for lunch and the person didn’t like that I was cleaning tiny bugs off the balcony and actually walked into our condo even though I’m sure he could hear me vacuuming and I could not hear him knocking right away. I thought this was extremely rude and it scared me. My very young daughters and I were alone and I told him it was not okay for him to walk in someone else’s home, rented or owned, even if the door was unlocked. I contacted the rental company regarding this. Apparently, he felt it was okay to walk in on someone while vacuuming to criticize them and scare them just to make his point he didn’t like me cleaning.

  We had a fantastic time at Lands End #402 Building 10! The condo was beautiful and in impeccable shape. For the most part it had everything you’d need for your stay. The beach chairs and umbrella were great and it had a Kuerig (I must have missed that on the condo detail list!) I would recommend a new iron as the one provided is quite old and leaks. In addition, there were only 4 sleeping pillows for both rooms. I’d recommend additional sleeping pillows. There were several decorative pillows and great blankets which was nice. I know it stated that beach towels weren’t provided, but I’d strongly recommend that the owners re-think this. We purchased inexpensive beach towels and left them for the next guests. More bath and hand towels would also be great from the linen service so you don’t have to do laundry so often.
  
  The entire complex was fantastic! The grounds were so well kept, the pool was wonderful with great bathroom facilities and Jim was super friendly and played us great music! The complex was also very secure and the beach was wonderful. I’d highly recommend renting at Lands End through resort rentals.

  The main issue was the elevator which we were aware of the repair issue which was to begin Monday August 5th. We arrived August 3. Used the elevator, when we reached the 3 rd floor. It started to shake horribly, but arrived on the 4th floor.
  Very scary experience. We did not use it for the rest of our stay, for fear of getting stuck. It did not spoil our stay, as using the steps really toned my legs.
  Management had a notice to the side of the elevator, stating repair were to begin
  August 5th, no one ever arrived to work on the elevator during our stay.
  The beds were very comfortable. We would love to stay in this unit again.

  Fabulous view. Although this was advertised as a "premium" unit, the furnishings are only adequate - nothing premium about them. Sheets and bedspreads average. Guest room pillows need upgrading. The kitchen is poorly stocked. Too few mixing bowls and serving dishes. Very poor food preparation knives. Plenty of wine glasses, but only 1 water glass! Umbrella was broken. Beach chairs old and uncomfortable.

  Lands End is a unique experience because of the location, privately owned units and the consistent well managed property. Resort Rentals painlessly puts it together for the visitor. Many units have been upgraded but all I have used are more then adequate. Beachfront is worth the extra cost, anytime of year. At under $200 a night it's a bargain for what it is. Being seniors, we appreciate the low key, less commercial atmosphere of this out of the way place, but still close to everything. We also like the large, deep pool and full kitchen facilities.   We have regularly rented a vacation week at Lands Ends for 17 years now. A lot has changed over time but there are still the constants that bring us back, privacy of beach and a great location. This unit was by far the best in terms of décor, accommodations, beds, TV, Kitchen and overall feel that we have ever rented. We picked a bad week; more rain than I can remember combined with a lot of construction in the complex, roads torn up and beach nourishment in process which cost us our walks down the beach. It did force us to explore other beaches in the area which was good. We will go back to renting earlier in May in the future, but we will try to book this unit.

  Vacation Rental’s staff members were excellent hosts and problem solvers.. We booked 2 condos that had to be in the same building, one for my son and his family and the second for my wife and I. We booked both units almost 1 year in advance and we felt confident we had our vacation arranged. Unfortunately the owner of one of the units took the condo out of the rental pool for our week so we had a problem. My son worked closely with the rental people and resolved the issue so that we ended up with 2 perfect units in the same building. Both units had been updated and were very comfortable.
  
  My wife and I began every morning on the balcony, drinking our coffee while watching the birds entertain us with their beautiful songs and flight patterns while schools of dolphins swam close to shore. D

  We really enjoyed at our stay at this condo. It's beautifully remodeled, has a fantastic view, in a private, quiet location. It was plenty spacious for our party of 2. It's not far from St. Pete Beach, downtown St. Pete and Clearwater. The only things that would make it even more perfect (and these are very minor) would be a better set of drinking glasses and a bigger closet available to guests in the master bedroom. We didn't cook while there, so can't comment on the rest of the kitchen inventory. We just really loved the condo and didn't want to leave. Hope to return sometime soon in the future!

  This is the second time in 402 building 2. It's a beautiful updated condo. Our only problem was cleanliness. The rugs had lots of sand in them also lamps and ceiling fan were very dirty and the rails on the side of the bed were dirty. Lands end overall is beautiful and we will be returning.

  We had a total of 13 family members spread out over 4 condos on our trip. My husband and I had treated the rest of the families to the vacation and this was the condo we ourselves stayed in. Therefore, I will make comments about the condo (very nice and everything we needed and the view was great-not much else to say, except that if we return, we will stay in this condo!) and our stay in general. Resort Rentals sent a special treat "basket" to use after we'd been there a couple of days because I had mentioned to Gail at check-in that the trip was for our 30th wedding anniversary, but that our granddaughter told everyone we were going in celebration of her 6th birthday, which fell during our trip. The gift basket had 2 balloons, one for our anniversary and one for the birthday child! There was a separate gift for the 6 year old! Best of all, there was an anniversary card enclosed signed by the entire Resort Rentals staff! We were very impressed and appreciative and would recommend Resort Rentals to anyone. They are a class act and very friendly and helpful. Regarding Lands' End in general: we felt the "guard" to be gruff sometimes and the pool "security" to be overly strict. We had a young child with us who was just learning to swim and we weren't even allowed to play with small balls or swim toys with her. I understand that roughhousing can't be allowed, but younger children playing with swim toys to further enhance their swimming skills should be taken on a case by case basis. Further, my son in law was handed a canned drink, took a sip and placed it on the apron of the pool. Within SECONDS, a staff member appeared telling him that no drinks were allowed "in" the pool. This lead us to believe we were being closely watched the entire time. It became a joke with the family, but it was not appreciated by me at all. Advice to Lands' End: Take any "infractions" on a case by case basis and be NICE when the rules must be reinforced.

We will pass this feedback over to the condo association so that they are aware of this but please accept our apologies on their behalf if things were addressed a bit “gruffly”. The pool rules are posted inside the area but again, we are sorry if anyone wasn’t pleasant when addressing them with you. The Land's End Condominium has 24/7 Security and the grounds are very well kept up. We always use Resort Rentals in St. Pete Beach FL and we have always had great, efficient and friendly service. We suggest if you want a quiet experience to pick weeks other than Spring Breaks. Lands End is normally a very quiet, peaceful experience. The dolphins were out each day. We even had a beachside visit by a group of manatees. Lands End gulf front condos cannot be beat!

  We come to Florida every year for Thanksgiving and as always had a great holiday this year. Lands End is a fantastic destination have great views a magical beach to walk on and a very peaceful location. The grounds are well kept and the condo well equiped. Being gated with a 24/7 staff means security is not an issue. We will be back next year!

  The only draw back of our vacation was the gate attendant ( or lack thereof ) on duty when we arrived, very rude. Acted very put out that he had to stop what he was doing to check us in. Everyone and everything else was amazing.

  Overall, we were very impressed by the property and the particular unit. When we checked in, the office staff was very professional. There was some confusion around the parking spot - we were assigned #15, but after three stops at the guard house, we were informed that the vehicle already occupying that space belonged to the owners, and we were reassigned. Although there were lots of pillows available, there were only two pillow cases in the master bedroom and no extras anywhere. We ended up purchasing a set which we contributed to the unit's inventory. We were very disappointed that the hot tub wasn't functional as this was a selling feature for us.
  These inconveniences were more than outweighed by the fabulous view from our balcony and the early morning dolphin show - one morning we counted 10 dolphins just off the beach. We have already recommended this complex to others and will likely return.

  This was our 2nd stay at land's End in 2 different is a relaxing, clean and well kept condominium complex. The proximity to the beach, boardwalk and shopping is a plus as is the variety of restaurants near by. We have rented 2 other properties on Treasure Island from Resort Rentals with equally fine results.We have no doubt that we will return many more times to this area.
