Sunset Villas 2 Amazing VIEWS/pool/sun deck/Beachfront-only 4 condos!

Experience true Florida living in this charming beachfront property!! This amazing 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo has an open and spacious living and dining room area, a fully stocked and beautifully updated kitchen with granite counter tops, lovely décor with tasteful colors, tile and wood flooring throughout as well as a lovely balcony right off of the living room. Each condo has 2 balconies for use, 1 off the Master bedroom and the other overlooking the Gulf of Mexico! This location is perfect for a family getaway as there is a park in the front of the property and a pool and the beach in back! Unit #2 is 1 flight of stairs up and on the north corner. Come and play on our beaches today!! PLEASE NOTE: This is a totally non smoking property. There is no elevator at this location, only stairs for access. This property does allow for shorter stays at certain times of the year. Please contact us for more details.

Sunset Villas is a unique and adorable beachfront property in Redington Shores. This location has 4 different 2-bedroom, 2 bath units with each having a semi private beachfront balcony from the living room area as well as a private balcony off the front of the condo. Each condo has a comfortable beach décor throughout, individual washer and dryer for use, onsite parking and each sleeping up to 5 guests. Onsite is a heated - private pool, direct beach access, playground area across the street for the kids, charcoal grill and patio area for those evening cookouts along with everything else that you need for a truly memorable beach vacation. You will find John’s Pass Village approximately 5 miles to the South which is filled with shopping, restaurants, water activities and entertainment for all. Feel like riding some roller coasters while in town? Busch Gardens in Tampa is approximately an hour drive away or hit the Disney parks and all the other Orlando attractions in just 2 hours. The Florida Aquarium in Tampa, Clearwater Aquarium (Home of Winter the Dolphin), Hard Rock Casino, beautiful state parks and miles of beaches are just a handful of reasons to visit our Pinellas County beaches!!! Redington Shores is a quaint beach town that is just a short drive outside of St Petersburg, a city loaded with museums, art galleries, restaurants and shopping. You won’t run out of things to do here!!!

  Great location steps away from the beach. Great restaurants nearby. Typical beach house decor and well used amenities, which could use some updating. Disappointed in the cleanliness of the unit though. The kitchen counters were dirty, the kitchen cabinets sticky, the floor sandy. And no broom was available in the unit to use for daily sweeping.

  We enjoyed our stay here with our 3 young children. The pool was our kids favorite! A quick walk to the ocean was amazing as well. The process to obtain keys needs to be updated. It is 20 minutes out of the way. Maybe a lock box on site would be more convenient for guests, especially after traveling 8 hours on a plane with kids! The chairs on the balcony also need updating, but otherwise not many complaints. We had a great time and would return!

  I have been to this rental several times and I am never disappointed. We stayed for a week. The place always feels like home no matter which unit I have stayed in. The only issues that I had were with some maintenance of the unit, Refrigerator, balcony door, shower head, all of which aren't difficult fixes. I only wish that small pets were allowed. Love this place though.

  Great vacation. Unfortunately constuction on the property next door, can be noisy at times. AC stopped working in 2 of the units was fixed later the same day. The view is beautiful and the location is perfect.

  Redington Beach is a quieter location and the beach is beautiful and maintained well. Sitting on our balcony was idyllic as we watched the sun set over the gulf. There were many stores and restaurants that are within walking distance. The property has many amenities and the pool was very nice. The only thing I wish we would have had was another stuffed chair or full sized couch to relax on in the evening as the weather was somewhat cool. Not sure how 4 or 5 people would have sat in the living area. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay and we would definitely come back

  Location is absolutely tremendous. The beach is so close which makes it very convenient when traveling with kids. A few steps out the back door and there you are. The beach is very quiet which I personally enjoy and it is close proximity to many restaurants. The park across the street is great for kids. Mine loved it! We would definitely return.
  If I have any complaints it would be that 1) You have to pick up your keys about 20 minutes away in St Pete Beach. Not a huge deal and the people are very friendly but still an inconvenience if you're coming from the north. 2) We were in one of the downstairs units and you can definitely hear the people above you moving around and walking. It wasn't an issue of them being rowdy or jumping around (they were very nice and quiet) it was simply the sounds echoing from the floor above us. We would definitely book an upstairs unit next time!

  Loved the location! Loved the smaller property and layout of units. Kitchen was awesome! Bathrooms could use updating in toilets and cabinets. Faucets difficult for children and cabinets were too high even for myself. Ice maker did not work. Noice level from upstairs units pretty loud. But outside furniture, pool area, access to beach were wonderful. Parking availability also very nice. Definitely would stay at this property again. We had two of these units and our family had a wonderful time.

  We recently spent a week in this unit for the fourth. It was nice, spacious, clean and well maintained. Our only complaint is that the people upstairs had children that they couldn't control. The kids ran and jumped non stop. We ourselves had two children of very similar ages, and i know for a fact that we made sure ours did not create such havoc. We would love to return, but we will make sure to select unit 3 or 4. Because even after talking to the adults upstairs 2 times, nothing changed. and it was all hours and unfortunately did not make for a very relaxing time.

Very nice covered area by the grill, which came in handy when it rained. It's a charcoal grill, not gas, so come prepared. The unit could have used a couple more chairs, but for 2 people, we had plenty of furniture.

  We had a great time at the Sunset Villas location. Right on the beautiful west coast beach! The unit was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the inside as well as the balcony space.
  
  The only thing that was a little lack luster was the shower to rinse off from the beach. it didn't function very well, though there was a hose as well. A good working pull string shower head is a must have as you leave the beach to come inside.

  We had a great time, although the SAND was tracked into the condo, from the outside deck. there was so much sand on the floor we couldn't get rid of it. we used the hose and cleared moat of the sand out by the shower, however, it did no good, i tried to hose off the steps, hose was too short.sand was back within hours. i even rinsed the rug out by the steps, did no good, made the floors in the condo slippery, sand every where . some is to be expected. the only other thing was, there was no bath soap which i didn't bring, i asked the house keeper she gave us one tiny bar. other than that- It was great!

  House and location were awesome. The House could have been cleaner. When we walked on the floor feet became very dirty. Fans were little noisy but workable. There did not seem to be anyone in unit above us but we heard heavy foot steps late at night. We were thinking maybe there was a ghost walker?? However, would go back in a minute. The location was Excellent and the pool was warm and very nice. Would be good to have some beach chairs to take to the beach and a TV in the bed rooms. My husband and I got the twin beds which were ok. Recommend putting in a Queen or King bed. These are just minor issues as we absolutely loved the place and hope to return next year.

  This was our second stay at Sunset Villas. It has the perfect location on the beach in Redington Shores. The inground pool is a nice diversion from the Gulf. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay but we did notice, as did the other guests, there that the property is beginning to look a little run down. It was not as clean as it was in the past and the furnishings were starting to look a little worn.. Especially the kitchen. While everything we needed was there the décor needs a facelift. There were no problem with the rental company and I feel they were welcoming. Since we love Redington Shores so much we would definatley come again.

  This condo is in a great location and has great views with easy access to the beach. The unit was very clean and well equipped. While the unit was clean, I never saw anyone attend to the pool during our stay and it needed a good cleaning. The pool deck area also needed to be cleaned up as the occupants from the previous week left a large amount of beach toys scattered around the pool. We also had 3 different mainteance/contract workers show up to do work. 2 of the 3 were unannounced and didn't really seem to care that we were on vacation. Overall we had a great time and would stay here again

  We loved every bit of our vacation on the gulf coast. We had great walks along the beach and to local stores for ice cream, pizza or dinner. We ate our pizza on the deck with one of our sunsets..,.what a perfect evening. Having two bathrooms was great. Laundry on site was helpful. The kitchen set up was also great. We spent most of our time on the deck, listening to the waves and sea gulls, having a drink and good conversation.

  Great location,quiet,great beach and lovely sunsets and overall the property is great. We have rented for several years in a row and will be back. However, there were several issues with the unit we stayed in. There was mold in the bathrooms (of which the property manager had cleaned up immediately). The couch and chairs (lounge and dining room) are well worn (thread bare) and look dirty. The mattress in the master bedroom sags a lot. I would think if this were my property, I'd certainly replace or recover the couch and chairs and replace the mattress. With those small changes the property would certainly exceed anyone's expectations. We really do love this property.

  The condo was overall nice. The view from the balcony was amazing, especially in the morning with coffee. A small building was nice in that we had the pool to ourselves everyday and the very short walk to the beach was perfect for our small children. The furniture was fairly warm but clean. Except for under the fold out couch. We opened it to find a couple of missing toys and it was pretty dirty. Otherwise bathrooms and bedrooms were clean. The only other annoying feature was that the washer and dryer were very inefficient. It took almost 3hours to wash and dry one load of laundry.
  The location trumped any of the negative aspects. I would go back and I would recommend it to a friend.

  It was the most relaxing time I have ever had on a vacation! The condo inside was very clean and welcoming. The pool though hadn't been running for 2 days and both filters on the bottom were off and I cut my foot and my son also got hurt. But the next day a man came and fixed both problems. The beach was about 100ft to waters edge from the condo. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!!!

  Property could use a little TLC, all edges in the condo were dust caked (window sills, wicker head board ect.) A sitting chair was broken and a little bit of mold growing in shower. So if you like a pristine inside this wouldnt be the place for you. I have 3 little boys who track in sand, no matter how hard you try to keep it out, so I dont mind not so perfect.   We truly enjoyed our stay at Sunset Villas Unit # 2 and plan on renting this unit in the future.
  
  We decided on this unit as we have an infant and we wanted something that was close to the beach/pool with very easy access to our place. It worked out perfectly, when our son would nap in his room with the baby monitor on I was still able to enjoy the pool while he napped. Also for feedings and quick diaper changes it was nice being steps from our place versus a condo where you have elevators and would need to coordinate what to bring to the pool/beach before hand. Also across the street is a great park for the kids to enjoy.
  
  Sunset Villas and area beach is much more quiet so if you are looking for a more peaceful retreat this is the place.
  
  The unit itself was very clean and the property was well maintained. Unlike some of the other reviews I found our place very clean. I heard they recently changed cleaning companies so we lucked out. One thing that would be nice would have been some updated pots and pans as the ones in the unit are very old so I went out and purchased a few pots.
  
  The pool is very clean and the amenties provided are, lots of chairs for the pool and beach and even some kids water toys also.
  
  Also if you are concerned about the noise from the 2nd floor foot steps, don't ... we barely noticed any noise from above and nothing that would wake you up are more importantly wake up my son.
  
  Great place, you won't regret it.
