Trillium 1B Completely remodeled, Beach Views from all rooms, top location!

This beautiful, bright beach front condo has recently been remodeled. With a very unique floor plan you have a fantastic view of the beach and Gulf of Mexico from the living room, kitchen and both bedrooms. The owners have done an amazing job decorating the spacious condo. The fully equipped kitchen and both bathrooms features granite counter tops. Each bedroom and the living room have flat screen TVs. The main bedroom has a king size bed plus a Murphy bed in the alcove that looks like a dresser. Your condo has tile floors throughout, a washer and dryer for your use as well as free Wifi and a free assigned parking spot. PLEASE NOTE: This is a non-smoking property.

Direct Beachfront on Madeira Beach and close to everything is the Trillium. This condo complex is a smaller building have only 15 condos that has direct beach access with a heated pool. The condos have large balconies with direct Gulf view… its perfect for the beach lovers!! There are several restaurants with live entertainment within walking distance as well as a Dunkin Donuts, Winn-Dixie grocery store, miniature golf and more. You will find John’s Pass Village approximately 1 mile to the South which is filled with shopping, restaurants, water activities and entertainment for all. Feel like riding some roller coasters while in town? Busch Gardens in Tampa is only a 45-minute drive away or hit the Disney parks and all the other Orlando attractions within 2 hours. The Florida Aquarium in Tampa, Clearwater Aquarium (Home of Winter the Dolphin), Hard Rock Casino, beautiful state parks and miles of beaches are just a handful of reasons to visit our Pinellas County beaches!!! We noticed that there was an issue with the hot water and the management company handled the repairs quickly. I would definitely rent the property again.   Blinds, shower rods were rusty, my bedroom didn’t have a chest of drawers or dresser. Had to put clothes in night stand. Couldn’t use the stove, air conditioner door had to stay open . Some of the lights wouldn’t turn on. Sofa was soiled... The Sliding glass door going out to the balcony was almoat impossible to open I had to go buy a can of WD40 and spray in the Track which made it open easier.The veiws was amazing and The beds was comfy.

  The best thing about the rental was the view! It was great. The rest is not as good. To start with when I arrived there was ongoing exterior maintenance going on (which I understand). But with 15 units there were only 8 parking spot open and the rental office knew nothing about it, and NEVER provided any guidance on options if parking was not available. Several of the bi-fold closet doors were out of alignment and would not close or even stay on the tracks. There is advertised to have WiFi available, and we even received the information for connecting, but there was not Internet access. I have over 30-years in the communications world and upon looking at the WiFi/DSL router it was not connected to the phone line, and there was no phone jack near it! Maintenance guy said he would check into it and get back to me. And just like the parking issue I am still waiting. Nothing! We talked to a couple that had just purchased to unit next door and when we told them which one we were in they comments it was a dump! They are not wrong! Also ice maker did not work and garbage disposal did not work. Again the View is great, some TLC on the property and some updating would be great. Also the management company needs to MANAGE and support the renters, not just get a paycheck. I would stay at Trillium again just not with this management company.

  Spent a week at the Trillium 1B condo at the end of February 2020. The reason we chose this condo was because both bedrooms had a view of the beach and the condo did not disappoint! This was a plus because we shared the condo with some friends and didn’t want to debate who would get the better view! The location was great, walking distance to John's Pass and Candy Kitchen right across the street. Short drive to St. Pete Beach and Tampa. The downside was that the beds were very noisy and not comfortable. Also the washing machine kept moving throughout the cycle we thought it was going end up in the hallway! The coffee pot filter was missing but they also have a Keurig machine in the kitchen. Unfortunately, we had only purchased coffee for the regular pot. The condo and building was very clean. Building did not have any grills but the kitchen in the condo was well stocked with pots/pans/utensils. There were no beach towels but the condo did have two beach chairs for guest use. Parking was tight and I don’t think a big truck or SUV would fit but we did like that there was assigned parking so we knew our spot would be open no matter what time we arrived at night. We would definitely return to this condo!

  We've been fortunate to have stayed at The Trillium for the past six years. With only 15 units in the building we see many of the same people each year and have developed some nice friendships. The building is well maintained, right on a well manicured beach and fronts on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Our unit could use some updating with furniture and new windows, but the owner has made some improvements which are appreciated. Dealing with Resort Rentals has been such a pleasure from making reservations to check-in to dealing with maintenance issues. Madeira Beach is definitely the place to be and Trillium is at the heart. We're close to the shopping and dining of John's Pass and the many fine restaurants up and down Gulf Boulevard. We're more than satisfied with Trillium and Madeira Beach as our winter home away from home.

  We were overall pleased with the unit. Very clean upon arrival, the kitchen is well stocked with everything needed, the shower heads were satisfactory and all of the drains worked well. Several issues were prevalent however, the master bed mattress needs replaced. The springs in the mattress were very lumpy and noisy. The door hinges to the master bed bath were coming off on the top of the door. Several slats from the blinds were missing. Entry to the building and to the unit were keyed entries. An electronic entry would be better to eliminate the hassle of keeping up with two sets of keys The AC unit struggled to keep up on the really warm days with a setting on 70. The master bedroom was constantly very warm and may need an electric booster on the AC vent for that room. Overall, we were very satisfied and will stay again.

With this being a secure property it is true that a physical key is needed to get into the building as well as in and out from the pool and coming and going from the beach. This unfortunately is out of our control as the condo association controls the grounds and the means to how they have access set up. We are happy to share this feedback with them on your behalf. In regards to the AC, yes, even set at 70 during our hot, humid days here will not keep the inside temp at 70. It is absolutely normal for an AC system to be set at 72 and the inside temps still reach 76/77 during the high heat of our days, it happens in our own homes as well and it is just the heat of FL. We are sorry if you were uncomfortable at all during this but everything is working properly.   The view from every room is amazing. We saw dolphins every day. It was a quick walk to the beach (which is why we stay here). We had a couple of issues with the shower facets and these were addressed rapidly. Our only recommendation would be for more comfortable beds. Neither were comfortable at all (we tried both :) We walked to the Pass every morning and saw manatees and dolphins every day.

  We (4 senior adults) have stayed in this rental every year for the past 5 years. It is a perfect spot, right on the Gulf with lots of restaurants nearby. The condo is open and bright with terrific views of the water, birds, and dolphins. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed for our 9 day stay. We were a little disappointed this year that the bedroom carpets were pretty dirty and there was a dirty ring around the master bathtub. In previous years there has been cleaning products under the sinks in the bathrooms, but nothing this year. One other issue was that the sliding glass door was VERY hard to open and close; a little maintenance on that would do wonders.
  The Resort Rental agency staff is very friendly and helpful with any problems that arise. I would recommend this condo to friends.

  The Trillium 1B needs some updating. The comforters are very dated and faded. The toilet in the master bathroom is a nuisance. You have to in close the door to turn the on and use the facility. Toilet is behind the door. The patio door is very difficult to open. Our experiences with several condos, they should provide an electric broom. The chairs for the beach are very nice! Very good quality! We have stayed in 1A and it is very tastefully decorated and updated.

  This is my second time staying in this exact unit and unless I get my own place at the beach, it won’t be the last. It’s hard to get any closer to the beach than this unit, both bedrooms and living room face the beach and you’re only one floor up. Although the bedding and furnishings are a little outdated, the kitchen is excellent and the bathrooms are updated nicely. Great local restaurants are close and Johns Pass is even within walking distance. Just a few minutes away is a Publix as well so no lack for anything when staying here. Another plus is because of the lack of public parking in this area of the beach, it is never crowded even in peak, plenty of room to play your beach games or throw a ball. I love it here, I think you will too.

  our first positive experience was one we first picked up the keys. The staff and especially Gayle were extremely friendly and very helpful about what to expect on our week vacation.
  We saw the photos of the location and the condo on line but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised that it was better then the pictures captured. The place was cleaned and had all the amenities of home. We spent the week with our children and grandchildren for our 40th anniversary and on day three of our stay we were surprised by one of the staff brining us champagne, crystal glasses a few treats and a Happy Anniversary card with all the staff signing the card and wishing us a great time. That was totally unexpected and very thoughful. We had a fantastic week and loved the area, the view and the condo.

  We are always happy with Resort rentals the Trillium 1B was a great location and we really enjoyed our stay..This was our 5th yr in the area and we have been to 3 others condos in the area..1B was good but the carpets in the bedrooms need a good cleaning stains and etc do not appeal to people that is about our only complaint except the matresses are old and bad for backs it is nice to have new pillows too thanks

  We loved the location of this unit. So close to the beach we could watch dolphins and the beautiful sunsets from our balcony. The unit has all we needed except for a hair dryer. The beds though are terrible and need new mattresses. We would stay here again if the mattresses were changed.

  The condo was in great location, view on beach. Very nice, somewhat private area. Dawn at rental office was very helpful giving us alot of information as our first time to this beach area. I picked this condo as a relative stayed here in July and advised how nice it was. It was nice, clean, roomy comfortable and had everything we needed. Enjoyed sitting on balcony watching dolphins and walking the beach every morning for sunrise and then later sunset. Unfortunately we left early due to hurricane Irma, hopefully the place didn't suffer any damage. Was a great stay otherwise.

  We have stayed in this condo twice in the past 2 years. It is close to restaurants, the view of the beautiful beach is fantastic, and it is very comfortable. Gail at Resort Rentals is simply a wonderful person, very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The only thing that could be better is how the floors in the bedroom and bath were cleaned. Found very long hair on and under the rug in the bathroom and also in the master bedroom. Otherwise a great place to stay.

  We stayed 12 days in January and truly enjoyed this condo and it's close proximity to the water. We also would like to commend housekeeping as our walkthrough after check-in found everything in order and clean and fresh smelling. Our only negative involved the spacious kitchen. There are new appliances, light and bright, but the kitchen is very lacking in serviceable pots, pans, toaster, wine glasses and salad & serving bowls. Many of these items and others in the kitchen were very old, scratched & useless.
  
  The rest of the condo was light, bright and well laid out. Furnishings are getting a bit worn but very comfortable and clean. We especially liked the ability to open the three room sliders to take advantage of the cool breezes and lack of humidity this time of year.
  
  Overall we very much valued our stay and have already reserved this condo again next year.

In the premier condos you will find recent updates to the bathrooms and kitchen, along with newer appliances, flooring, furnishings and flat screen TV's. We have a number of premier condos in the Trillium building should you want to try anything different for your next visit. The B units at the Trillium are the center units which provide the beach views from the living area as well as the bedrooms making them very unique from all others.   We have been coming to Maderia Beach for 12 years now and have always stayed at the Trillium. View is simply breath taking, sunsets absolutely beautiful and clean white beaches what more can anyone ask for? But there is more, close to John's Pass with wonderful shops and many restaurants to choose from. The small rental resort (which I love, only 15 units) is very well maintained and clean! Janet & the staff at Resort Rentals are very efficient, friendly and customer service is great!! It is the only place we stay on our vacations in fact would love to live there year around.

  Loved this condo and would go again. Unit was clean and had supplies.   Our first impressions were terrible. The entry way was old but neat. The elevator and hall leading to our condo was horrid, the stairs as well. We expected the worst when entering the condo and were pleasantly surprised. While the condo is very dated and in need of major upgrading it was extremly clean and fresh. Chairs and couches were servicable but not very comfortable, very saggy seats. The view was fantastic. The condo held everything we needed and was spacious and again very clean. I think due to great quality of upkeep I would rate it overall a 3.5. While major updating would make it have more ambiance, we were able to relax and enjoy the experience.

  This was our first trip to Madeira Beach, and we couldn't have had a better experience. The property is ON THE BEACH. No dunes separating you from the beach, no bridge/pathway to the beach...you just go downstairs and you are on the beach. Go out on the balcony and look down; there's the sand! The property is also within walking distance to many restaurants, gas stations and a very short drive to Johns Pass (walkable as well, but the weather was so HOT). The property was very clean and better than we expected. You have a wide beach/ocean view from every room. We loved it so much, my boyfriend proposed!! This trip will forever be a great memory for us. I can't say enough positive things about the property and location. And we saw dolphins right in front of the property, which is always a bonus :)

  This was our first trip to Trillium and we were very pleased with the condo and the beach. It was exactly as advertised. Even though it rained almost everyday, most of the rain occured at night or in the late evenings, so it really did not affect our 'beach time'. A few things that I noticed during our stay... To get to almost all of the St. Pete beaches, you need to drive thru St. Petersburg which can add a lot of time to your trip. (It took us on average about 15 minutes to reach a major highway.) Also don't forget to look both at St. Pete and Tampa Bay airports when you start looking for flights. We could not find a flight into the area for less than $320 per person (from St. Louis) but some other vacationers told us they got a special to fly directly into St. Pete (from Springfield, MO) for $150 per person, plus a rental car for one week for $70. I won't mention the airline, but keep your options open and look at more than the major carriers when looking for flights. All in all a very pleasant stay and we will be back.

  After a week in this condo on the beach, none of us wanted to leave. The location was very convenient to shopping and restaurants as well as all of John's Pass. The beach was much closer than any of the other properties we saw while out walking. The views from the balcony were too perfect to believe. It was a quick drive to the museums in St Pete and restaurants in Treasure Island and Indian Shores. The beach was never too crowded, the weather was pleasant, and the beds were so comfortable. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a fun beach experience on the gulf side of Florida. We will definitely come again in the future. Downsides: only 4 guest parking spaces (our group had 2 cars - one assigned space) and the bathrooms could use updating.

We enjoyed being able to walk out the door and onto the beach. It was nice to have the pool on the beach and to our surprise it was heated. Our favorite thing was being able to sit on the lanai and listen to and look at the ocean. The kitchen was very well equipped and it was great having the washer and dryer.   The view from every bedroom and living room is spectacular, location is great too. The only thing was not acceptable that pets hair on furniture in living room and in one of the bedrooms. Especially my wife is allergic.

  This is one of my favorite condo's and I would definitely stay here again. It is the largest condo we've rented in this area and in Ft. Myers. We have been vacationing on the Gulf for 40 years and we were very pleased with everything here!

  As our family arrived so did Tropical Storm Debbie. Although, the weather did not cooperate for a couple of days the property was very nice and clean. My family throughly enjoyed our time at the Trillium #1B. The cleanup from the storm was immediate and quick. We were able to enjoy the remaining time on the beach. The rental was clean with up to date appliances. The carpet in the bedrooms were very clean as well as tile flooring throughout the rest of the unit. We would definitely stay at this property again. We had a wonderful experience!!

  If you are looking for a private, quite beach and building, this is for you. You can't get any closer to the beach as the building is in the Sand Dunes! Easy to get to anything you want nearby.

  Convenient online booking process. Great location right on the beach. Both bedrooms have waterfont views. Pool was small but very nice (not too hot). The kitchen was REALLY well-stocked, with more than enough dishes, cookware, glasses and cutlery.
  
  BBQ/grill on premises needs replacing; it practically fell apart when we tried to move it. It was inconvenient to have to drive all the way to St. Pete Beach to pick up and drop off the keys.

    Thanks so much for the great review! I am glad you enjoyed your stay and the condo exceeded your expectations. Unfortunately I can’t help out with the broken BBQ grill as the Trillium does not have a grill on the property. The association does not allow grilling on the property and the city of Madeira Beach does not allow it on the beach. Hopefully one day that will change. I guess, a guest at some point, must have bought one and left it there.

  We stayed in this condo with 2 persons from 10/29 till 11/09. It was magnificent.
  The condition of the condo was good. A full and complete kitchen, a nice living room and
  a great master bedroom. The view on the Gulf was brilliant. We did see dolphins every day.

  This unit was great. Both bedrooms face the gulf and has a large living room and balcony. Close to John's Pass so lots of fun things to do. Very clean and bright. Only cons: Could use an update an the parking is tight - Be very careful when leaving.

  I was a little nervous when we drove up to the building, and was even more nervous with the elevator and dank hallway, but once in the unit, I was in heaven! We spent hours on end in the mornings and evenings on the balcony (myself, my wife, and one of our old friends whose daughter just got married in Tampa). The location appears to be one of the best along this stretch of beach (extremely close to the water) and the sunsets were fabulous even when it was cloudy. Having Wifi was a real necessity for us, and the signal was very strong (unlike in many Hiltons!). The only cons were that the dishwasher didn't clean very well (had to run each load twice, and I'm the type who basically washes the dishes before putting them into the DW); and the ice maker had a small leak that I simply put a coffee cup under to keep the ice cubes from becoming a huge iceberg (as when we got there). Those two small things aside, I definitely would recommend this place to my most persnickerty of friends and plan on staying there again.

  the location ws great, so close to john's pass. The guest room needed some vertical blinds replaced & my 3 1/2 yr old son & my 4 1/2 yr old niece were able to fit through the balcony railings though which made us uneasy letting them play out there much. we recommend putting up a mesh that you tie to the railings that people use for that exact situation. we loved seeing the sunsets & even saw dolphins swim by twice. the beach was not crowded the gulf water was amazing & the pool was great for the kids. the only thing is we rented 2 condos 1B &2B next time we will rent 2 on the same floor to make it easier to see each other. Our room was alittle outdated but super clean!

  Property was wonderful. The only complaint would be the beach chairs. The umbrella was cheap and broken. For $25 dollars we purchased a better umbrella and left on site. The chairs were rusty and one was broken, and the other chair was about to bust. Otherwise, everything was great. We will definetly be back.
