This 5th floor premier condo has a large, screened in balcony facing the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. You have access to the balcony from both the living room and master bedroom where you will see spectacular sunsets. The décor is traditional and comfortable. The updated kitchen is fully equipped and you are within walking distance to restaurants, shops and other beach activities. Your condo has a washer and dryer for your use as well as free internet service. PLEASE NOTE: This is a non-smoking property with the exception of a designated outside smoking area. Villa Madeira is a direct beachfront building right in the middle of quaint Madeira Beach, a small beach town that is approximately 2 miles long. Consisting of 50 units; all units face West so all will have a direct view of the Gulf of Mexico from their private, screened in balconies.

  The condo is ok, great view from balcony and great location. A few updates still needed, like bathtub in one of bathrooms needs replaced. The elevator was out of service one day, which was very inconvenient for us being on 5th floor. My sister has difficulty going up and down stairs. The unit was not cleaned very well, the floors were filthy and tables were dusty. Coffee maker looked like it had not been cleaned in awhile. Drains in kitchen sinks were nasty. The screened balcony had a top panel out and sitting on floor. Glass sliding doors do not lock, although I’ve experienced this before in other condos elsewhere. We have paid less for other condos that were much nicer than this one. You advertise clean and sanitized but the basic cleaning was not even done well. I know it’s difficult these days to get good help, I don’t know if that’s the problem or what. We would not rent this unit again for sure.

  This was our second year at VILLA MADEIRA # 506.
  
  The unit is large with a great balcony and view. Nice upgrades since last year. New power recliners and all new balcony furniture. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you would require. Unit very clean as well. Nice, covered parking with assigned spot.
  
  Overall, Villa Madeira has nice well kept pool and grounds and nice beach.
  
  Three negatives this year that may affect my decision to stay a third time.
  
  #1 The elevator was constantly going down during our stay. We heard from other visitors that this was also occurring the week before we arrived. When I called Resort Rentals on Sunday to report the elevator not working that afternoon, I was called back and told that this was not an Emergency and I should not have called the emergency line! Going up and down 5 flights of stairs is an emergency to me!! The worst was 5AM the morning we left. Had to carry everything down 5 flights of stairs to car! Not easy for two senior citizens.
  
  #2 Routine maintenance was lacking. We could not use ice cubes from ice maker as they were very bitter (perhaps filter?), but tap water tasted fine. Thermostat constantly flashed “change battery”, bedroom smoke detector went off intermittently for no reason. One toilet would “run” every 20 minutes or so.
  
  #3 During our stay, three different units had dogs (not service dogs) staying and occasionally barking. Also, many people smoking on balconies that drifted to our balcony.

  The complex was in a great location and had a nice pool and lounge chairs near the sand. The unit was spacious and had an amazing view. To make it perfect I would update/remove old carpets and mats. Also, the cleaning company could have done a better job or left supplies so we could clean up after ourselves.

  The description of our condo was thorough and true. In fact, our experience was better than imagined! The condo and the building were both spotless and the property was well cared for. We felt very safe and secure. The check in process was easy, which we especially appreciated since we arrived late in the day. The unit itself looks out over the water so you feel like you’re on the balcony of a cruise ship. (Only the balcony is large and private.). The pool was off to the side of the complex so we were not disturbed by pool noise. The unit was furnished with everything we needed including beach chairs! Everything worked and the master bed was very comfortable!

  We have been vacationing in Villa Madeira for many years and have always been pleased. This year was one of the best primarily due to the excellent condition of VM 506....just a wonderful unit. The owners should be very proud of the work they have put into it. Cleanliness, decor, features are all top shelf.
  We personally love the location of Villa Madeira. This year we found several new restaurants. Top among them were Villa Gallace and Sea Dog Brewery. A new wine bar - Wine Knot - was also terrific...Using the local inexpensive gulf Blvd trolley to get around is great...
  The Resort Rental folks were just great throughout the entire rental process. Kudos to them too....

  We loved the place! It was very clean. We had trouble getting the TV on channel in the living are but finally did. Would help to have some instructions. Also did not like it because the channels were different in the bedroom than in the living room. They should both be the same! The bed was horrible!We both had a hurting back when we go back. You need a Tempur Pedic mattress! They last and don't break down.

  I've never stayed right on the beach before. Although I found the price of a one week stay rather expensive, it was a beautiful condo and suited our needs very well. And we had an amazing vacation. We loved the condo. The only thing that would help is having something available to help bringing groceries to our condo. We had to make a few trips to get them in. Lol but that's minor. I needed this vacation so bad and this was absolutely beautiful and I loved staying right on the beach. The sound of the ocean and the balcony with the gorgeous view was truly wonderful.   My family and I have rented this condo for three years and plan on returning next year. We feel at home while we are there and treat it as if it were our own home. Condo #506 is in great condition and the furniture is also nice. The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable as well. We do wish there were gas grills in the pool/patio area however. This is the first year that there hasn't been a gate between the garage and patio/beach area and it would have been nice to have had it especially since I have 1 and 2 year old sons who were on the patio and interested in the cars in the garage.

  As always, we really enjoyed our annual visit to Madeira Beach. This was our 5th year, and each year, we've stayed in a different unit in the building. I think this was our favorite unit. The beds were comfortable, the shower was fantastic, everything was very nice. There were no beach chairs or umbrella, but we bought those and left them, so they should be there for the next guests. We didn't do much cooking, but it seemed like there was plenty of kitchen stuff to manage the basics. We were there with our 2 daughters, 5 and 2, so I put up some of the more delicate decor to keep it safe, but other than that, it was great with kids. There were even some small plastic cups that my little one was able to manage without trouble. We hope to be able to stay in this unit again next year!
  
  P.S. They were doing a lot of work painting the exterior of the building while we were there. We heard they will be replacing the elevator in September. It's nice to see they are maintaining the property. Also, they re-keyed the locks during our stay. Resort Rentals gave us the new keys along with the old keys, so we had no issues, but apparently not all the renters had the same experience. It made us feel even better about using them for our vacation.

    Thank you so much for the post! It is always nice to hear about the pleasant experience our guests had during their vacation stay. Yes, they are doing some maintenance to the building which included painting the full exterior of the building as well as re-screening all of the balconies. The building maintenance also put in a new key system in the lobby area and everything is looking great! We truly appreciate your patience in the updating process, we know that on site construction can be frustrating but it is needed as well. Yes, they will be working on the elevator system and it currently is scheduled for mid September for approx. a months time. In regards to the beach chairs, we do have a supply here at our office that we are happy to lend out to our guest during the duration of their stay, based on availability of course. During your next stay if you do not find any beach chairs please feel free to call our office and we are happy to get you set up with some from our office inventory. :-)

  It was rainy at the start, but we arrived to a clean enough condo overlooking the Gulf. I was told it could sleep six but to make that happen we had to use pull out mattresses from the couch that were in less than stellar condition.
  It was also ridiculously hot in the master bedroom the entire stay which made it hard for me personally to really be able to sleep at all.

  We loved the beach here, as it was not crowded even when other parts of the beach were crowded. Not crazy about the screen over the porch. The furniture in the picture is not the actual furniture on the porch. The condo is very nice and has everything you need. Even though the posted rules say not to save chairs with towels, we could not get a chair in the shade outside because literally every one had a towel or shirt on them with no one around. This is very rude and frustrating. We ended up paying for chair rentals on the beach, which should be included by the owners at this price.

  We always choose Villa Madeira when we plan a vacation stay in Florida. We enjoy the location of the facility on the Gulf coast. The beach is clean and family friendly. Each unit has an amazing view of the ocean and amazing sunsets right from your private balcony. We have brought our adult children and our grandchildren on several occasions. Everyone has expressed their enjoyment and satisfaction for this wonderful place to spend a family vacation. Our family greatly recommends Villa Madeira to anyone seeking nice accommodations for vacation.

  Overall a good experience. But annoyed by people feeding the sea gulls on the beach. Property management needs to monitor beach activity to ensure inconsiderate people don't feed the birds. I did observe a sea gull defecate on the head of a drunken women as she fed the sea gulls.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay. The property was convenient to all attractions and the sunsets were outstanding. We did have a problem with the bedroom ceiling fan which was eventually replaced. Security could be better on several occasions the lobby door was left propped open so anyone could enter without a key. The property management company went out of their way to try to make us feel comfortable and correct any problems. We would definitely stay here again

  We have stayed here for many years now. We have always found Resort Realty to be helpfull in resolving any problems, noting that there have been very few over the years. We try to stay at this property when ever we can as the view is great and the condo is extremely well kept. We come here every year and will countinue to do so.
