This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit has been freshly updated and is just lovely!! Freshly painted, totally updated and fully stocked kitchen that has stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops, both bathrooms have been updated, new beautiful flooring flows throughout the condo, FL beach decor with comfy seating and has a dining table and breakfast bar to provide plenty of seating for all. This condo also has a private balcony that overlooks the Gulf so that you can take in all of the amazing sunsets while relaxing right in your beautiful condo! Coin operated laundry conveniently located on floors 2, 4 and 6. PLEASE NOTE: This is a non-smoking property with the exception of 2 designated outside smoking areas.

The Emerald Isle is a direct beachfront building on North Redington Beach. This building has 2 or 3 bedroom option condos, all which will have direct views of the Gulf of Mexico from their own private balcony. You will find John’s Pass Village approximately 4 miles to the South which is filled with shopping, restaurants, water activities and entertainment for all. Feel like riding some roller coasters while in town? Busch Gardens in Tampa is only a 45 minute drive away, or hit the Disney parks and all the other Orlando attractions in a 2 hour drive. The Florida Aquarium in Tampa, Clearwater Aquarium (Home of Winter the Dolphin), Hard Rock Casino, beautiful state parks and miles of beaches are just a handful of reasons to visit our Pinellas County beaches!!! North Redington Beach is a quaint beach town that is just a short drive outside of St Petersburg, a city loaded with museums, art galleries, restaurants and shopping. Beautiful stretches of beach, great spots for fishing and everything else you need right nearby makes the Emerald Isle a great vacation choice!

  The property was a great one with a wonderful view. There are only a couple things I'd suggest. One -there was no deadbolt - looks like it was removed (not from vandals). Suggest that there be one for safety. Also, recommend that the cleaning folks clean the closet in the smaller (twin bed) bedroom - there was sand everywhere.

  Beautiful beach, clean, not too crowded. Condo is beautifully updated, very clean & well stocked with supplies. We stayed in this unit a few years ago and would like to come back. However, they need to replace the twin mattresses in one of the bedrooms. My brother-in-law had such low back pain that he had to sleep on the couch. That was really the only issue. Hopefully they will replace & we can come back!

  My husband and I recently spent a week in this unit in North Reddington Beach. When we arrived at our unit shortly after 3:00, it clearly had not been cleaned. However, one quick call to the Resort rentals office solved the problem that was evidently caused by a communication error. The cleaning crew was back at the unit within 15 minutes, and we returned from a 45 beach walk, the unit was spotless. The condo had everything we needed for a delightful week - great location, beautiful views of the gulf, nice furniture including a very comfortable king bed, excellent restaurants nearby (we did take out only), and more than adequate numbers of dishes, glasses, cooking utensils, and pots and pans. It would have been nice to have a notebook with suggestions on places to eat, nearby parks, attractions, etc. Even with Covid, I think it would be OK to have something like that. We hope to come back next year!

  Having never been to the Gulf side of Florida we weren’t sure what to expect! We were pleasantly surprised how beautiful the beaches were with its white sand and slow rolling waves. Emerald Isle was the perfect location for “snowbirds” with parking at the condo and elevator and a heated pool on the beach. Unit 401 had recently been updated and they did a wonderful job with just the right touch of “beachy”. Emerald Isle is in walking distance to a couple of restaurants which really liked. The area is quiet but if you want so noise just go down the road. I would recommend Emerald Isle as a great stay!

  We arrived to find sand on the master bedroom floor, hair in the mater bath sink and noodles and crumbs in the kitchen sink. In light of the Covid-19 issues, This did not give us any assurance that everything had been sanitized!
  
  On our last day, our checkout time was 10:00 AM. At 9:30 AM the cleaning crew knocked on the door and wanted to come in and clean. We were packed and about to take our luggage to the car. The cleaning crew sat on the floor in the outside hallway along with their cleaning equipment and supplies. We had to step over them and their equipment to get our luggage out of the unit. Needles to say, it was difficult and took some extra time. We were out of the unit by 10:00 AM as required.
  
  Our suggestion would be to get a different cleaning crew that would do a better job of cleaning the unit and be more respectful of the renters.

  This is a great 2 bed room condo. My family and I have stayed in a number of these units and by far this one was the best. CLEAN!!!! I worried about covid and traveling but as soon as we walked threw the door the smell of clean bleach hits us. Not too strong, just a very clean fresh smell. The king size bed is a TRUE king. I always hate it when you go somewhere and they say the bed is a king size bed and actually its a queen. My husband is 6ft 5 and 280 so trust me when I say we were thankful for this! And it was very comfortable. It was updated and just perfect. I have noting negative to say about this condo. It was a perfect week. The kids slept well also. It was also helpful the laundry is on the same floor. Will stay here again and again. Hated to leave.

  Hurricane Sally brought us a good bit of rain but we didn't let that stop us one bit. We had an amazing week at Emerald Isle. The view was perfect. The pool was the perfect temperature. Life was quiet and laid back in the area. Location was perfect!
  
  As always, we enjoyed John's Pass, Clearwater and especially the bird sanctuary!!
  
  The only inconvenience is that there is no washer and dryer in the unit. Luckily we were on the same floor as the washer & dryer.

  Beautiful condo on the beach! Easy beach access, condo was updated and very clean. Washer/dryer just down the hall so not a big deal that it wasn’t in condo. Even had 3 nice beach chairs that we could use. Always felt safe and cleaning staff was very nice and it was quite at night. Would definitely go back!

  This is our second year staying at Emerald Isle. We love the location and our unit. Our unit was fully updated and very clean. We appreciate how this building is not enormous in comparison to some of the other buildings in the area. We had a few concerns this time around though. One was the pool temperature was very cold- pretty much impossible to swim in. We thought the pool was heated as it is advertised as so, but guessing the heater was either broken or not turned on. We also wish the key system was different as the convenience of a card is much better than an actual key. Our last concern was we wish the grill was newer and more usable. Overall, we love Emerald Isle and would like to book again for next year, but hoping to hear these improvements are being made.

  Usually, the place is well kept and a pleasure to stay but this time the pool area was a hot mess with broken umbrellas and chairs thrown in the corner, kids toys and floats everywhere (including halls), boogie boards and other beach stuff (like a paddle board) stashed by the fence into the pool area, sand everywhere in the shower area so it was impossible to clean off your feet and gates constantly left open so kids from Grand Shores were constantly in our pool for their games. The internet was constantly crashing and we had to keep flipping to other wifi sites which really hampered my husband's work. I left a detailed note on the form when I turned in my keys and do have pictures for you to show the owners. It was NOT the usual condition as to the other times we rented.

We were given feedback from other guests about kids propping the doors open and causing some disturbances and we did contact that condo in hopes to get things under control.....we are sorry if they did not take hold of that situation and apologize for any problems they caused. We do not have this kind of problem happen very often and we do feel it was an isolated occurrence to that week of visitors and again apologize for any disruptions that came with it.   My husband and I have stayed in this area for years and have rented several condos. This condo was much larger than it looked in the photos, had a well stocked kitchen, and was very clean. There were several restaurants within walking distance and only a short ride to John's Pass. I would highly recommend this condo to friends and family.

    Thank you for your feedback. Yes, the Emerald Isle property is one location that does not have the individual w/d in the unit, there are only the coin operated on the alternating floors.   This was our first time staying at this resort and it was great. This property is managerd by Resort Rentals and when i called in spoke with one of their associate and he was very professional, great customer service. The room was very spacious for the family of 4, the only thing i found is the master bedroom floor is all cracked. It looks like there was renovation through out the condo except that 1 bathroom. . Redington beach is a quite beach for familys with kids. Before we stayed at St Pete area and its definetely more live, there is more restaurants, coffee shops then the redington beach. You had to drive in order to get to a restaurant. However overall it was great stay at the emerald condo.

The only downfall was the key issue, needing a key to unlock the gate to go to the pool and unlock another gate to go to the beach. Punching in a code would make things easier. Beds were very comfortable, and plenty of towels were provided for our family of four. My only recommendation for improvement would be to regularly clean the balcony furniture - we had to wipe them down to remove the dust and salt residue.   We had a wonderful time at Emerald Isle. Location is perfect, especially if you aren't looking to be in a crowded/tourist area. There are many shopping opportunities within close driving distance. The pool area, building and grounds are in great condition. We were there with our 2 daughters, age 13 and 6, and they had a great time. Beach is amazing! Only complaint I would have would be the carpet in the unit, especially the living area. It definitely needs replacing, tile would be a good option.

The southern view was immaculate and being right on the beach was a huge plus for us. I really liked the size of the building (only 6 floors- 4 units per) as opposed to some of the giant hotel/condo options available. The private balcony was a nice place to start and end each day. Building was very secure with locked lobby & pool area. Kitchen was well stocked with more items than we were expecting (enough to have our Thanksgiving dinner!) 3 flat panel tv's were a nice touch.   Lovely area, been going there for 20 years. Unfortunately some of the apartments have not changed too in 20 years, with bathrooms and kitchens in need of remodelling. However, they are still pleasant enough and the one we stayed in was furnished nicely
  with flat screen TV's. Resort Rentals provided a good service and at a good price, however they did not include any maid service and was unaware of this at the time of booking. Not a major problem though as laundry facilities and plenty of linen is provided.
  I would recommend them and this area.

  The only inconvenience was parking. We had two vehicles and had to park the second vehicle on the street since there are only two guest parking places for the entire condo.

  We have been to the N. Redington beach area before, but this was our first experience in a condo. We were very satisfied. We stayed for three weeks. Loved the decor, very beachy and clean. We also loved the fact that it was not busy, the elevator was alway available and the pool not crowded. We have stayed at hotel properties and somtimes you cannot even get into the pool. Also very quiet. The fourth floor unit was perfect for us. Loved the furniture, good mattress, also the plasma TV's were wonderful. Also in this unit there is a mini library with an assortment of books and games which we loved. There was nothing missing that we could find. Kitchen well equiped. Overall we would definetly go back.....Great Vacation....

  Very nice location on the beach; pool spotless. Lots of light in the condo. Very nice view of the beach from the balcony. Only comment: we found everything we needed in the kitchen but equipment (pots,pans,knifes)should be updated. We noticed a total lack of recycling facilities and this should be looked at. Staff has been very helpful answering all questions before our arrival.

  Everything was fine except for one evening after dinner, the AC quit working. It was after hours, so we had to spend the night without air. Miserable night of sleep. Turned out to be the circuit breaker, which, and resetting, continued to break a few times, but finally stayed on.

  We were very pleased with the vacation rental. The condo was clean, spacious enough for 4 people. I would recommend a sleeper sofa for the living room. We love having the beach right outside our door. Great food choices to eat within walking distance.
