Emerald Isle 602 - Beautiful, spacious 3 bedroom condo/AWESOME GULF views!

If you are looking for a relaxing get-away, this is the place! The decor, spaciousness and comfort of this condo will put you right at ease. The beautifully updated and fully equipped kitchen makes meal prep a breeze. The large private balcony is a great spot to kick-back while you watch our famous Florida sunsets every night!! This condo is located in North Redington Beach and not far from restaurants, shops and other activities. Famous John's Pass on Madeira Beach is just a short drive or a couple Trolley Stops away. Free wireless internet included. Coin operated laundry conveniently located on floors 2, 4 and 6. PLEASE NOTE: This is a non-smoking property with the exception of 2 designated outside smoking areas.

The Emerald Isle is a direct beachfront building on North Redington Beach. This building has 2 or 3 bedroom option condos, all which will have direct views of the Gulf of Mexico from their own private balcony. You will find John’s Pass Village approximately 4 miles to the South which is filled with shopping, restaurants, water activities and entertainment for all. Feel like riding some roller coasters while in town? Busch Gardens in Tampa is only an hour drive away or hit the Disney parks and all the other Orlando attractions in approximately 2 hours. The Florida Aquarium in Tampa, Clearwater Aquarium (Home of Winter the Dolphin), Hard Rock Casino, beautiful state parks and miles of beaches are just a handful of reasons to visit our Pinellas County beaches!!! North Redington Beach is a quaint beach town that is just a short drive outside of St Petersburg; a city loaded with museums, art galleries, restaurants and shopping. Beautiful stretches of beach, great spots for fishing and everything else you need right nearby makes the Emerald Isle a great vacation choice!

  Fantastic located property on the beach, free parking and lift to all floors. Initial view of the property was that it needed updating , and both showers could have been better, although the apartment did have everything that you would need for your vacation and we would recommend and use again, there was a washing machine and dryer available outside the apartment on the same floor, the only MAJOR downside to this property for us personally was that some days we could not use the balcony due to a family of smokers in the unit below us and when they were outside which was a lot of the time and smoking it was impossible to sit on our balcony as we are not smokers and it ruined several days for us but this is not the fault of resort rentals as I think you are allowed to smoke outside. So my advise if you do not want a vacation ruined by smokers then book a low level unit.

  Overall the place is very nice and the location is great. A few things could use some attention in the condo: Screen on deck door has lots of holes, kitchen pans need matching lids to cook certain dishes, bathrooms need towel racks fixed and soap dish replaced. Place was nice and living room furniture looked new. Lots of plates glasses and utensils so that was good. Appliances all worked well. Washer and dryer were convenient and worked fine. We stayed five weeks and enjoyed very much. Would rent again next year if available.

While some might complain about the need for keys to get everywhere I liked it because I knew that no one would be on the property that didn't belong. It was quiet and safe.   This was our 6th time to rent from Resort Rentals while staying all at the Emerald Isle. We love the location which is perfect for our family. The view from the condo of the Gulf is truly amazing and never gets old. The condo #602 was nice with adequate accommodations. There were a few things that didn't work or the condo lacked, but overall we made do and had a great experience. We would stay in this condo again. Renting from Resort Rentals has been the best part of vacationing in this area. The staff is super nice and very helpful. I would recommend their services to anyone looking for a vacation rental.

  Resort Rentals staff were great! Very professional, efficient, and responsive! Emerald Isle is a quiet building, but our time there was at a not too busy time for rental at any of the local condos (mid November). The Emerald Isle is more like an apartment bldg then a resort condominium. This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo is spacious and was clean when we arrived. There is only the master bedroom that had a working TV (other then the main living area). There were little issues that were promptly addressed by the Resorts Rental folks. It would have been nice to have enough wine glasses and juice-sized glasses for 6-guests. The dishwasher left horrible stains on the glasses and flatware having us to re-wash them. Not particularly an appreciated activity while vacationing. The microwave also had some issues left with the property management. The laundry room on that floor was satisfactory and easy to use. The grounds and pool area are very clean and well kept. Ultimately, the view is amazing! Many sunsets were thoroughly enjoyed! Unfortunately, the dilapidated pier to the north remains a bit of an eyesore. Nice, sturdy beach chairs and coolers worked out well and were appreciated. Would definitely use the Resorts Rentals again for our North Redington Beach vacations.

We keep a number of supplies here at our office that we are happy to get your way so that you are fully comfortable during your stay.   We loved this rental unit. It was perfect for a girls week together. The location with easy access to the beach was perfect. The unit was very clean and up to date. The furnishings were very nice and the ocean views could not be beat. The only down fall to this unit was the “key system.” A key is required to enter the building, enter the unit, and enter the pool. With six people in our unit and only 2 keys available, it often made it difficult to come and go as you please. The only thing that could improve this unit is to updat the “key system” to a keyless entry.

  Third year in a row staying at Emerald Isle. Three bedroom condo very nice and spacious. Very nicely decorated. Has everything you need plus beach chairs and umbrella. Love the smaller condo building, allows close parking to front entrance and is never crowded at the pool. An added safety feature is you cannot enter the building without a key. Quiet place to stay. Assigned parking place is nice. We personally like the no pet/no smoking policy which allows for a much cleaner condo and all around environment. The beach is never overly crowded and is very clean. The condo grounds are very well kept. No having to wait for deposit return because there is no deposit which is great. Resort Rentals is by far the best rental company we have ever dealt with and we've been renting for 50+ years. Reservations are super easy,you don't have to sign your life away to rent, and they trust you to pick up keys from a lock box. I highly recommend Resort Rentals and Emerald Isle Condos. We will be back yearly.

  Recently stayed at Emerald Isle #602, a lovely appointed condo. Beautiful, yet charming, beach decor in every room. Fantastic beach views and sunsets on the extra large balcony. Also great views from the windows, sliding doors and other balcony in MBR. Very clean unit and property.
  Easy reservations, check-in, check-out.
  Relaxing days soaking up sunshine, watching dolphins, talking to fisherman, seashell hunting in different locals, swimming in crystal clear waves, walking for miles along the beach. Non-crowded location.
  Be sure to visit the free admission Seaside Bird Sanctuary, nearby, a gem for local birds and those that are interested in them.

  We came down in April and we were very pleased with the property....the kitchen had a lot more pots/pans and dishes than other properties we have rented in the past, which was awesome since we cooked at least half of our meals on our vacation!!!   On our arrival was delighted by the location...almost on the beach and a unspoilt view as far as you could. Apartment was spotlessly clean although a little dated in the kitchen and bathrooms, but perfectly usable. The pool was perfect for a dip before or after a sea swim. A few diners within walking distance for breakfast or lunch, but you need a car for dinner, but there a some very nice restaurants within a 5 min drive. Overall thoroughly enjoyable and fact am planning to return next year.

  We stayed at the Emerald Isle #602 in late July. We stayed here before. The location is great with nice western facing sunsets from the gulf. Once again, the maintenance(cleaning of the pool) was really good. They even installed a key box drop when we leave so we don't have to drive back to drop the key off. Resort Realty was able to handle any questions we had.

  We've been going to Emerald Isle for the past 6 years. Great place for a family vacation. Room 602 was reasonably clean and comfortable. A/C worked well and beds were comfortable. Only complaint is that it would be nice to have access to the laundry room at the condo, but it was locked and unavailable. The folks at Resort Realty were great to work with and easy to do business with.

Not all of the condos at this location have a washer and dryer in the individual units and unfortunately the ones that do, should they be locked, are for the owners use only. The property does provide coin operated laundry on site for guest’s use that are always available but we definitely understand the convenience of having use in room. If this is something that is important to you, we do have other locations that have individual w/d in the condos and we would be more than happy to provide you with those options should you need. Our guest’s feedback is what allows us to grow and better for everyone so we truly appreciate you taking the time to leave these with us. I want to apologize for the cleanliness, or lack of, of the condo upon your arrival. We will pass this over to the head of our housekeeping department but do apologize that this was even an item that came up. We also apologize for the pesky ants that were discovered in your condo! The condo association sprays around the building and the owners of each unit also have the interior done however, they are very persistent here and even with treatments they somehow find their way back. Should you find anything like this upon your next visit please do not hesitate to contact us at our office. We have staff in place that would be happy to come out with some traps/spray so that we can get them under control for you. They are a nuisance for sure and we try very hard to keep them at bay. We will pass the maintenance items and updating comments onto the owner for their review, but the same for the maintenance, please do not hesitate to let us know about items during your stay if they should arise as we have staff to address these and we want to be sure you are comfortable in your rental during your stay. For future vacations, we do have a category of condos in our program that carry the designation of “premier” status. In these condos you will find recent updates to include updated kitchens and bathrooms, newer flooring, furnishings, appliances and flat screen TV’s. We have a number of locations that have premier condos available should you want to try something a bit more updated during your next visit. We truly apologize again for the frustrations you encountered during your visit with us but sure do hope we can host another FL vacation for you soon….hassle free! ;)

  Very nice condo for families. Beach is not very crowded which we like, but there have always been other children for our kids to play with. Room was very nice - only few small complaints. Carpet was getting pretty old. Also several lightbulbs needed to be replaced but not a big issue. Master bed was pretty comfortable and I'm fairly picky. Twins not so much, one of my kids commented on liking ours better. Having to use keys 2 times to get to beach and 3 more times to get back in was a small hassle but that also probably makes it more secure. View was great from 6th floor and 3br especially have a nice balcony. Pool area was nice and clean. Most condos have beach supplies like chairs, toys, umbrellas etc. Kitchen was reasonably well stocked. There's a small store across the street for quick purchases. Had to check out at rental agency which was a small hassle, would have preferred to just leave the keys. Other than that checkin/out was pretty quick and efficient. Our 4th year coming and will be coming back.

  The location and property were perfect. The condo was a little dated but we loved it. The first impression was concerning as there was roof work being done and we had to be stepping over or around the tarps and plastics and equipment, however we did not let that spoil our stay, but it was a little annoying. The parking situation was terrible. We were assigned a spot, but someone was in it. Called the rental staff and they assigned us a guest spot. I was not comfortable with that but trusted they new what they were doing so we took it. That was a terrible mistake. On the day we had our vow renewal and dinner with out kids, we headed back and the parking was gone. We went to talk to the unit who took it and they argued with us that its a guest parking and basically too bad. We were concerned about getting towed, and the rental answering staff for the weekend was not helpful and never returned our call as to where to park. Finally, we parked in a spot that was not a parking spot as the unit who took our assigned guest spot suggested as they started to feel bad that we were dealing with this on our anniversary instead of spending time with our kids who we don't see much as we live far away from each other. So, although we had to deal with this, I wasn't going to spend my time being upset, as my family is more important. But next time I would handle it differently and would not allow the rental staff to do that to me again.

  After getting things ironed out with the construction, it went well. Our only complaint is the cleaning service and the LR TV. You can only see part of the screen on most channels. The TV is OLD! We had a rainy day and wanted to watch TV, but it was too frustrating. The bottom line is, the condo is perfect, the view spectacular and Janet at Resort Rentals is awesome. The cleaning service cut too many corners and I had to do what they didn't. RR offered to have the condo cleaned again, but I had already done it. We WILL return, thanks to Janet.

  We really enjoyed our stay over Christmas at Emerald Isle. All the people we met around the pool were nice and helpful in suggesting restaurants. The furnishings were exactly like the pictures, very nice. The only complaint is - there is no where to put things in the master shower except on the floor. Would be nice to have a shower rack or shelf, that way things dry out.

  There was a note on our pickup package that the disposal & dishwasher needed repairs and the repair persons were there promptly Monday and fixed them. We took a few day trips-swam with the manatees, visited the Kennedy Space Center. Had great steamed crabs at RiversideCrab House (Homossasa) and Crabby Bills (Indian Rocks).   I would have rated everything five stars except for a few things, the condo was great. The TV. In the living room was so old, that we had to go somewhere else to watch our hockey team in the playoffs. The tv is dying or burning out. Very noticeable on a white or light transmission. The guest bathroom needed some TLC. Faucet handle comes off in your hand and the toilet needs to be tightened down. The sliding glass door was almost impossible to close, but I think the rain might have been the cause of that. Otherwise, we highly recommend the place and will return. We have dealt with the rental agents for years and have always had a great experience. They are on the ball with anything you may need!

  I've traveled to the whole Gulf Coast (West) from Clearwater to Sarasota since the '80's. Redington and N Redington are very nice areas and not as crowded as St Pete, etc. This property is in a good location which doesn;t have a lot of traffic and crowded beach. We stayed on the 6th floor so it had a wonderful view. The property is quite dated but in very clean shape. The condo is also quite dated but if you are just wanting a week away where you can hear the ocean and relax, this is just fine.

  Very warm and professional wellcome seremony at rental office, got lot of valuble hints. Location was nice and property layout itself open and full of light. Only negative point was appliances of the kitchen. Oven, microwave and stove were very old and worked just partly. Stove had 4 places and just 2 of them worked. I was afraid of the potential radiation of this old microwave. Anyway one of the best experiances anyway.

  Great quite location yet close enough to all you could need and want to do. Had a problem with very soft mattresses, which was dealt with efficeintly. A great time had by all.

  Overall a good place to kick back at the beach. Wonderful pool/beach access. Need extra chairs for the pool area. Home was in good shape, however they need to update stove/microwave. Also the master bedroom bed needs replacing, you sink to the middle. Great sunsets!

  Kithcen had no pot holders, Patio window blinds wand did not work properly, slats falling off. Mattress in Master Bedroom could use replaced, very soft, sinking in center. New bed pillows in bedrooms would be helpful, also needed extra pillows, were none. Our stay was very nice other then these few issues. It was very nice to have games and beach toys and chairs.. very appreciated. More lighting at lock box at management complany where key is picked up would be nice.

  We had a great week. There was plenty of room and everything we needed. My only regret was that there wasn't a grill for my own use, (not that I was expecting one, I just missed having it) also a mop and broom for my use would have been helpful. I would

  WE have been staying at Emerald Isle condos for quite a few years now, but feel the apartments could do with upgrading. All are very clean but a bit dated now! Could do with some new sun beds around the pool area. The whole block is kept very clean and tidy.

  My only suggestion to the owners of the unit will be to PLEASE replace the bed in the master bedroom. We are accustomed to sleeping on a King sized bed! The queen bed in that room sunk in the center and was very uncomfortable!

We were so impressed with our accomodations for the week we stayed here! It was very clean and beautifully decorated with very nice furniture. The pool was great and the location and view was even better. We can't say enough good things about our stay! We hope to return for reunion trips together in the future!
