Villa Madeira is a direct beachfront building right in the middle of quaint Madeira Beach, a small beach town that is approximately 2 miles long. Consisting of 50 units; all units face West so all will have a direct view of the Gulf of Mexico from their private, screened in balconies. You will find John’s Pass Village approximately 1 mile to the South which is filled with shopping, restaurants, water activities and entertainment for all. Feel like riding some roller coasters while in town? Busch Gardens in Tampa is only a 45 minute drive away, or hit the Disney parks and all the other Orlando attractions in only 2 hours. The Florida Aquarium in Tampa, Clearwater Aquarium (Home of Winter the Dolphin), Hard Rock Casino, beautiful state parks and miles of beaches are just a handful of reasons to visit our Pinellas County beaches!!!   We had a wonderful holiday at this apartment & could not fault anything within it. There was plenty of everything for an enjoyable stay.
  The key system was a little inconvenient needing keys to even enter the lift however I am sure that will be changed to a card system in due course. The apartment was very clean on arrival

  Beautiful view and wonderful stay. Clean, very close to John's Pass and good restaurants. Easy check in and check out. Happy to have two keys to the unit since we had multiple people staying. Master bed was extremely comfortable. Facilities were nice and clean. Love that it has a washer/dryer in the unit. Only small suggestion I would make is to replace the light above the dining table. Everthing else is nicely decorated and comfortable.

  Villa Madeira was clean, comfortable, great place to stay with plenty of room for our family of 4. A bit inconvenient to picking up/dropping keys at different location. The condo has a beautiful view from balcony, wish some of the screens could be removed or rolled up. Kitchen had everything we needed, but 2 cabinets were taped shut due to hinge problems. Parking easy, clean pool and easy access to beach. Lots of great restaurants around and John’s Pass nearby. Would highly recommend staying there!

  This condo was good choice for our family of 5. It was very spacious and perfectly located close to everything. There was one huge inconvenience associated with staying at this facility. You need to use a key for everything! It was a huge annoyance and could be extremely inconvenient for large groups visiting. I also accidentally dropped my keys getting onto the elevator and they fell right down between the crack. It cost me $120 to replace my keys! I thought that was extreme.... Other than that we had a good time.

  Condo was very good and clean. Easy access to the beach and swimming pool. Screened in balcony was good for us as we had a 3 year old that likes to throw things up in the air so nothing could go over the railing. However if you like to take pictures or people watch it is hard to see thru to get a clear view. Would be nice it there was a section that could be opened like on some other units we saw. Electric plugs were confusing as so many were controled by light switches. Also does not have a TV in the second or third bedroom. Did have numerous beach toys for kids to play with.

  Apartment was throughly clean, very well located and comfortable. There were several kitchen gadgets, start paper products and a clean fridge. It was nice to know towels and blankets are washed away in a facility. So we didn’t need to worry about washing them before leaving and felt we had clean sheets and towels. The location is spectacular: calm waters, long stretch of fine white sand with tons of shells, 5 min drive from St John’s pass. It’s right in front of a small shop called candy kitchen (a kids paradise serving home made ice cream and all sorts of candy - why not?!). It’s an older building do you need to carry actual keys with you all the time to access the beach, pool, elevator, and apartment.
  Suggestions to the property management: beach towels would be very nice to have, along with basic cleaning tools, like a dish scrub. Also, plastic containers from the dollar store to safely take out snacks to the beach, would be super.

  We had a great time. The unit could use a toaster. As far as it being clean, overall it was but the cleaning staff neglected to clean the ceiling fan in the master bedroom. Not sure the last time it was cleaned by the amount of dust on the blades. I ended up doing it myself. Also the hot water temperature didn’t last through 2 showers, had to wait at least a 1/2 hour in between for it to somewhat get warm. These are only minor things. The beach is clean & big, there are chair rentals right in front of the condo. Candy Kitchen is right across the street which the kids loved. Coffee shop with breakfast called Sweet Brewnettes is very close. John’s Pass is less than a mile not a bad walk if you don’t want to drive. I will definitely stay at Villa Madeira again!

  We just had a great week in this villa. We had the pool to ourselves (which was nice and warm for the cooler winter FL weather). The view was amazing from our balcony. The master bed felt like we were sleeping on a cloud. We were close to the sights, grocery stores, and restaurants. The location was great! Different from older views: they have add more pots and pans (non stick too)! Do plan to bring your own spices (no salt or pepper) and hand/dish soap. Overall a wonderful stay and plenty of room for our kids to play and run around.

  The apartment was beautiful and really well taken care off. Clean and very comfortable. Loved everything and the family had a blast. Only issue we had is the kitchen is kind of bare with 1 frying pan.. They need to invest in more kitchen equipment. It was kind of difficult to cook in.

  Check in process was easy ,we had our keys and were in our condo right after 3 pm. There is only one luggage cart and a few grocery carts -check in stairwell for carts but the unit is right by the elevator so we just made a couple trips down. The unit was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything-it could use a non stick skillet or two. The entire complex is well maintained and very clean. We loved how the pool area is right by the beach with restrooms right there too. And those tiki huts and chairs with an oceanfront view are also great. We took our dinner down there a couple times to eat and watch the sunset. The only downside is having to use a key to get to the pool , beach , bathrooms elevators etc. with only having 2 keys it was har sometimes to coordinate when kids wanted to come and go from the beach and pool back to the condo. But the key system serves its purpose to keep people who aren’t staying at the condo off the property. The complex is so close to the beach and makes it very easy to put out your beach stuff then just leave it all day. The beach and pool area were never crowded. We loved villa Madeira so much that we re booked for next fall !

  Wow! We loved Villa Madeira! When we first arrived we had an issue with our breaker box. The power kept going off. In their defense it was a new breaker box and we were the first to use it. They made everything right immediately! Very pleasant people to deal with. We stayed in Villa 306. We have every intention on coming back again. The access to the beach is the best. You walk out on the deck and the beach is right there, no boardwalks or stairs, no long trails! The patio having tables and tiki umbrellas was so nice. The building was clean and the staff was polite everyday!

  Pros- The location was perfect. Not a very busy area but close to everything. The condo was very roomy and the furniture was perfect for our family (2 adults and 3 teenagers). Kitchen has everything you would need and they start you off with a couple rolls of tp, a roll of paper towels and a trash bag.
  Cons- This condo does not have any pool/beach towels. I called to ask and they said you have to bring your own. That is hard to do when flying. Also, every condo I’ve ever stayed at has a spot with beach stuff... chairs, floaties, boogie board, bucket, shovel... I know people are buying these things and leaving them so what do they do with the towels and beach stuff? The key situation is something that everyone we came across was complaining about. You have to have an actual key for everything... to get to the beach, to leave the beach, to get in pool, to leave the pool, to get on elevator, to enter stairs... EVERYTHING. If someone in your group left the pool with the key you are literally locked in the pool area. Lastly the residents who live there full time are rude. Several times a woman yelled off her balcony when kids are having fun in the pool and apparently being too loud. This is at noon and she screams out “some people live here and aren’t on vacation” to children. And older couple walks around reminding everyone of the rules. I never saw anyone breaking rules. My kids made friends and everyone on vacation seemed very friendly and respectful.
  Overall we had a blast but will not be returning to this condo.
