The Cottages at Madeira Beach are a hard to find treasure across from the Gulf of Mexico. This delightful complex is located just steps from the white sandy beach of Madeira Beach.

There are 7 single home style cottages arranged in a quaint, well maintained courtyard. A beautiful heated pool with spa jets and a BBQ area are located at the opposite end of the property. The pool side Tiki Huts spend shade and are great for family and friends gathering, playing games or just relax. 2 washers and dryers are available as well as a shared shed storing some beach chairs and beach toys. Each Cottage has its own little patio and a parking spot. Free WiFi provided.

Famous John's Pass Village with Restaurants, Shopping, Live Entertainment, Water Sports, Sightseeing Boat trips and Dolphin Sightings from the Boardwalk is just a short stroll away.

  This was second year to stay at cottages.was very clean. close walk across street to beach.great neighborhood.had an issue with lock,called and maintenance was right there to fix it.would happily stay again.

  Everything was wonderful. Loved that the tall palms were trimmed when I arrived. They needed it. And the laundry room was cleaned. Looking forward to the new floor and updates my next visit.
  
  Issues:
  1. Laundry room-the washers were dirty. The detergent receptacles were not cleaned after staff use. One washer door had dog hair stuck in it visible from outside the door my entire visit. Thankfully the chair/toy area in the laundry room was thoroughly cleaned out, and the staff started cleaning the laundry room floor.
  
  2. Cottage 3: There was a nasty, stained blanket in the closet. I attempted to remove and wash it, but it had stained the hanging bin it's in. That needs to go along with the array of brooms and the floor cleaner, and the dirty pillows.

  Perfect for a short staycation. Was able to walk to the beach multiple times a day, the pool was perfect, and the walk to John's Pass was very short. The staff was very proactive with communication. We had everything we needed! We'll definitely come back :)

  It’s a cute little spot with friendly people. Place was clean and cozy. A little outdated though, but still a great spot. Close to the beach and the pool is right there!

  We had a wonderful time at Madeira Beach. The rental was clean and supplied. The cottage was small and needed some upgrades. The starfish needs a new floor and maybe a new couch. It kind of sank in the middle. The bed was absolutely great! The mattress was so comfy, slept like a baby! Would definitely stay again but again needs a little upgrading.

  Love the quaint atmosphere as you enter into the complex. Nice pool area. Small bathroom. Just know the pool is directly behind Unit 3 (Starfish) - some may like that, others not. Minor issue of note: WiFi was working, but internet service was not - needed to be reset by Spectrum. When I first called over the weekend, management said it was just a WiFi problem and to reset the modem. This was not the problem and had to wait until Monday to call again. Lost two days of internet service (working vacation). Be prepared and have your own hotspot just in case.

  PRO's: Our unit was clean and stocked with everything we could need. The location could not get any better. Pool area was small but sufficient and had inflatables to float on. There are pet friendly areas to walk your dog that are very close. CON's: The ceiling in some rooms are VERY low. My husband is 6'4" and had to duck to enter the bedroom, while lying on the bed we could touch the ceiling with our feet. The parking spots/property is not meant for larger vehicles, we have a mid-sized SUV and barely made it in and out. Finally, the selection of beach toys in the "shed" is horrible; four chairs, two of which were broken. The shed was disorganized, dirty, and barren. The A/C window unit in the bedroom was quite loud. I would recommend for a pet friendly property that is close to the ocean, they just need to work on a couple things.

  This cottage was small but perfect for what we needed. Quick 5 minute walk to Johns Pass. All beach equipment provided which was a nice perk. It’s in the shed across from Cottage #3! Beach access is right across the street. We stayed 4 nights and drove very little. Lots to do within walking distance! The one thing that we noticed, that wasn’t up to par was the pool. Never saw it cleaned. The sides looked like a dirty tub. Bleh. I skimmed it and it still wasn’t great. I also cleaned the pool deck myself with the hose just trying to make it a nicer experience for everyone else. Never saw a pool boy or any maintenance crews in the time we were there. Overall the cottage was clean and pleasant.

  We stayed at cottage #3 and it was super clean, modern and contained everything we needed for our one week stay at the beach.The location is great and just steps away from the beach so we didn't have to pack meals as we just walked to and from the beach as many times as needed. Beach chairs at the shed and a complementary washer/dryer was another perk regular hotel rooms don't offer. John's pass (with tons of little shops, boutiques and restaurants) was just two minutes away (walking) from the cottage. We did have an issue with internet signal strength when we just arrived but the management was great in resolving it quickly by installing a 'booster' in our living room. Our cottage was a great home away from home and is highly recommend to anyone staying at Madeira beach.
