Cottages at Madeira Beach #2-Seahorse, Great Location with a Pool!

The Cottages at Madeira Beach are a hard to find treasure across from the Gulf of Mexico. This delightful complex is located just steps from the white sandy beach of Madeira Beach.

There are 7 single home style cottages arranged in a quaint, well maintained courtyard. Cottage #2, the "Seahorse", was fully remodeled at the end of 2020 including a brand new bathroom and all new flooring throughout. A beautiful heated pool with spa jets and a BBQ area are located at the opposite end of the property. The pool side Tiki Huts spend shade and are great for family and friends gathering, playing games or just relax. 2 washers and dryers are available as well as a shared shed storing some beach chairs and beach toys. Each Cottage has its own little patio and a parking spot. Free WiFi provided.

Famous John's Pass Village with Restaurants, Shopping, Live Entertainment, Water Sports, Sightseeing Boat trips and Dolphin Sightings from the Boardwalk is just a short stroll away.

  It's a great experience to staying in cottages at Madeira beach. We rented the cottage #2 which was equipped all necessary just the cattle was broken. There was enough towels for 4 persons. Just bring your own towels for the beach.
  Very comfortable and clean. Experience in pool was great. There were the landery, it was very useful.
  Just one thing we didn't like. In cottages #2 were the cockroach. I was scared to see huge cockroach in the kitchen.
  In general we satisfied our experience with Cottages at Madeira beach.

  These bungalows are simple, and nothing extravagant, but are always clean and comfortable. This is the third year in a row my daughter and I stayed here for “girls’ time”. Clearly we enjoy it if we keep coming back! It’s a very convenient location, and my daughter considers it a fun home away from home.

  Adorable studio size cottage perfect for an individual or couple. I would not recommend 4 as to the size. It does have a sleeper sofa but if opened, it would block the doorway. This place is small! We arrived to find it spotless and equipped with all we needed for a week’s stay. Don’t plan to cook elaborate meals! Kitchen basics only-so reheating or making a sandwich only. This cute cottage community has a pool so it’s nice for visiting with fellow dwellers and cooling off. Walk to everywhere so plan on parking the car your entire stay.

  Small cottage, but it has EVERYTHING you need for your vacation!
  As others have stated previously, the sofa bed mattress is in desperate need of being updated. However, the queen size bed is VERY comfortable! We loved our stay. Also, the cottage was very clean!!

  I truly enjoyed staying here! I was looking for peace and quiet and that's what I got. I stayed in cottage #2 & it had everything that I needed. I would give my stay 98% only because the fan on the refrigerator was very loud and had a little trouble with the tv remote.
  I walked to the beach every day and even "Mad Beach Fish House" which I really enjoyed.
  There wasn't anybody on site to talk to address concerns, i.e. pool needed to be cleaned after the storm. But from what I understand from other vacationers though, if you call, they are very responsive.

  Cottages are adorable, location is great! My husband and I stayed in cottage #2 with our 2 adult daughters. Cottage was clean, but furniture arrangement is very tight. Kitchen supplies were adequate.Unit could use some shelving in bathroom/ living space to put toiletries and luggage/duffel bags. Unit #2 is the only unit that DOES NOT have parking adjacent to the cottage. There is a spot in the driveway, but the rental description says its next to unit. Floor in unit is unlevel which limits arrangement of furniture; i.e. the couch was slanted due to the floor which made it awkward sitting/sleeping. Location is steps from the beach and John's pass for food and shopping. We were contacted for a/c filter maintenance during our stay.
  I think this should be done during cleaning/empty unit times. Also, Wednesday at 8 a.m. the landscapers arrived with rakes and leaf blowers. This should also be noted to inform renters. We weren't expecting to be woken by that. We did thoroughly enjoy our stay, just giving honest opinions and additional info to future renters!

  This unit was nice and clean.
  This is a very dog friendly resort and that is great . There are little parks all through the neighborhood that you can take your for baby too.
  There was a little musty smell when running the AC and the parking was a little confusing.
  Overall I would give it a 4.5 out of 5 and would stay there again

  Cottage was in a great location, was able to walk to a lot of entertainment. Cottage was clean, smelled a bit musty when we arrive but was able to air it out. Very cozy cottage, wouldn’t want to stay in the one we did with more than two people. Check in and check out process was super simple and efficient. Was too cold outside to use the pool but it looked very clean and nice.

  We had to leave a day early because of the mold smell. After 3 days my wife was coughing and sneezing so much she thought she was getting sick. A few hours after we left the coughing and sneezing stopped and she felt much better?

  You wanna have a group vacation this is your place. We rented the 7 cottages and had the place to ourselves. The beach and Johns Pass is walking distance. The sunset cruise was a great!

  Cozy cottage that has all of the essentials for cooking, eating, beach going. Quiet place. The bed was comfy and the decor was pleasantly beach oriented. Good furnishings and the air conditioning was superb. It is actually less than a block to the beautiful white sand beaches. The actually have a pool on premise as well as a bbq area. Plenty of food establishments close by.
