Being a corner unit you will get an over-sized balcony that wraps around the side and back of this condo with direct Gulf views. Owners have put lovely furnishings and a large table outside for you to relax and enjoy meals or your morning coffee while you sit beach side! Beautiful furnishings and flooring inside making this condo EXTREMELY comfortable! Updated bathrooms and showers, updated kitchen with new appliances and fully stocked - the list goes on!! Staying in this beachfront condo will truly spoil you while on vacation…just how vacation should be! Villa Madeira is a direct beachfront building right in the middle of quaint Madeira Beach, a small beach town that is approximately 2 miles long. Consisting of 50 units; all units face West so all will have a direct view of the Gulf of Mexico from their private, screened in balconies. You will find John’s Pass Village approximately 1 mile to the South which is filled with shopping, restaurants, water activities and entertainment for all. Feel like riding some roller coasters while in town? Busch Gardens in Tampa is only a 45 minute drive away, or hit the Disney parks and all the other Orlando attractions in only 2 hours. The Florida Aquarium in Tampa, Clearwater Aquarium (Home of Winter the Dolphin), Hard Rock Casino, beautiful state parks and miles of beaches are just a handful of reasons to visit our Pinellas County beaches!!! Directly across the street from the Villa Madeira is the famous Candy Kitchen for those evenings you want to have a sweet treat! There are restaurants, cafes and coffee shops that are all in walking distance from this location so really you have all that you need right here.   We had a fabulous week away here as we combined vacation with moving our daughter into University of Tampa. We used condo as a home base as it is close to stores like Target and Walmart where we spent time shopping for college supplies. Third small bedroom supplied that needed space to store items. Unit was clean and full of amenities like Keurig AND regular coffee pot. Nice to have fridge with ice maker too. Washer-dryer worked perfectly. Only complaint really was the outside couch cushions need replacing or covers as they were very dirty. Unit did not have beach chairs but I later learned when dropping off key to rental office that we could have rented them for the week at the office with deposit returned upon return of chairs. We picked up keys after office was closed so I hadn't known that chairs would have been available to us. Pool area was clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay here again.

  We spent 7 nights at this beautiful vacation rental and we all wanted to move in permanently! The place is not only beautiful but has everything you need to enjoy your vacation! The screen porch was epic , the views from the windows awesome, the furniture and decor were fabulous! It was convenient to John’s pass. The only complaints were the pillows were not great and we did not know about the blow up mattress until we were leaving. The 3rd small bedroom should have a smaller framed bunk bed instead of a twin.

  The location of Villa Madeira is excellent. We loved the corner unit. With just a couple of maintenance issues, this would be a five star review. Minor things like terrible mattress in second bedroom, low quality sheets and no pillow cases on pillows in that same room. Toilet paper holder, in master bath, constantly falls apart. Built in microwave doesn't work. (although a small counter top one was provided) TV and remote impossible to operate. And oven was hard to operate as well. These are minor things but it would certainly have made our stay absolutely perfect. A bottle of cheap windex or cleaner would have been nice to have to keep up with our own messes. And on a last note, provide fans for each bedroom. Sometimes you need just a little extra air and noise cover up from the noisy upstairs neighbors. We enjoyed our vacation and would definitely stay again!! The ocean front view and experience was FIVE stars!!

  The rental was just as the pictures showed. Very clean and spacious. Loved the huge screened in porch, one side faces the water and beach and the other side faces the pool. We spent every morning out there drinking our coffee and every night we were home we were out there enjoying the beautiful sunset. There is a cute candy shop and Ice Cream place right across the street that has all of the older candy that’s so hard to find now. Location is great. Close to Johns Pass where the kids rented Jet Skis and us women shopped. We will definitely be back and will stay here again.

  We stay in this area once or twice a year and have had mixed luck with condos. This one had a better layout for the kitchen, and the location on the 2nd floor by the end stairwell meant that we never had to take the elevator. You could leave the patio and be in the condo in 60 seconds. The kitchen is beautiful and I really appreciate that they installed slide dimmers on most of the lighting. We spent a lot of time sitting on the patio becuase the sectional is comfortable. It's only a 10 min walk to Johns Pass and we were there several times during the week.

  The Rental is gorgeous and very spacious for our family of 5! We love that this property is on the beach, has a screened porch, and is just a very short walk to places to eat or shop! The property was very clean upon arrival and well maintained! A few ideas/minor suggestions for the future: offering pillow cases for all the extra pillows in the closets would be nice as most people do not sleep with a single flat pillow, some type of extra door lock used from the inside (chain or another dead bolt) would offer a little more security, a pair of scissors, and offering beach items for the renters. We loved this unit, location, and hope to stay here again in the future!

Extra pillow cases should have been found in the closet for the extra pillows. We are sorry if anything was missed but please do not hesitate to call us at our office and we will be sure to get them your way. The Villa Madeira is a secured building requiring key access to get into the lobby area, however, we do understand your feelings in regards to an additional lock and will share this with the owners for their review. We are sorry if there were not any beach chairs/items in the unit for you. This is one item that is not required for the owners to leave, however, many do but they go missing quite often which is unfortunate for all. If you do not have beach chairs in your condo please give us a call at our office as we do keep a supply here that we are happy to help with, based on availability.   They allowed us to check in early because no one was checking out. We were very thankful for that. The condo and property were extremely clean. Rafael works daily, keeping the property **** and span. The mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced, as it is very lumpy. Other than that, my review would be a 10.

  My husband, 3 kids and I have stayed at the Villa Madeira building for the past 8 years. The property is always kept in great condition and the beach is amazing. We rented condo #201 this time and it was nice. The kitchen could use more cookware and utensils and the Roku box in the master bedroom wasn't working so we couldn't watch TV in there. I would also like a secondary lock or chain on the inside of the front door because I didn't feel safe having my young kids in a room by the front door. This is because a lot of people have the code/key to the front door and anyone with that could let themselves in.

  This condo was beautifully decorated and probably one of the cleanest condos we've ever rented. The property was described accurately. It has a beautiful view of the gulf and very close to the beach so there was very little walking to get to the beach. The pool was well maintained and 'heated' which is a bonus on cooler days. The kitchen is well stocked and there were even a few condiments left in the condo which cut down on things we needed to buy. This is the first condo I stayed in that had a screened in balcony. I'm not sure how we felt about that. It's definitely a bonus during bug season but being there in February we didn't notice any insects You get used to it but it did obstruct the view slightly. There are several restaurants very close within walking distance and several grocery stores were a very short drive down the road. We ate at Dockside Dave's - the food was excellent. We ate at the Brown Boxer - the food was ok and it seems like there are various activities like bingo and live music that happen here.
